Registered Company No. 09181574 www.ghosthunteastanglia.co.uk facebook.com/ghosthunteastanglia twitter.com/ghosthunt01 The school holidays are over, the kids have gone back to school. September is upon us, we are heading into Autumn. The nights are starting to pull in, but that is always a good thing for the Ghost Hunt team! Welcome along to our September newsletter, a new location and a new team member to announce...
That Was The Month That Was. August the 7th was a special day for us. As Ghost Hunt East Anglia are a collective member of the Rough Tower Association, we were invited along to their Echo's Of The Past open day. We had two stalls, one showing what we do on an event, and team member Bev had her Give A Bear A Home stall. Money rasied on that, was split three ways, between the Tower Association, Cat's Protection and the Dog's Trust. Team member Laura took members of the public into the main tower, and raised some money by doing readings for them. Two young ladies were so impressed with what they had been told, they came back for second helpings, with a few others! It was a great day, very hot (if a little breezy!) and we hope to be a part of this fantastic event, next year. To see a few more pictures of the day, please visit www.ghosthunteastanglia.co.uk On August the 27th, we returned to one of our, and our guests favourite locations. Rougham Control Tower remains one of our most popular events, and we have new dates for 2017. But, I am getting ahead of myself! More on that later on...
Once again, we had a very interesting night. Some K2, glass and table work. We have two dates left for this location, this year (our Halloween night is SOLD OUT, but don't worry, we return here on the 31st of October, 2017. Put it in your diary, now!). We investigate again on the 23rd of September, and our final visit of 2016 is on the 11th of November. Please visit www.ghosthunteastanglia.co.uk for more information on these and many more fantastic events we have coming up. I am pleased to say our 2017 events are starting to fill out, and we are adding more, all the time. Have We Got GHEA News For You. Please let us welcome a new member to the Ghost Hunt East Anglia team. Chris Doyle is a seasoned paranormal investigator, and we were pleased to welcome him on board at our Royal Gunpowder Mills investigation (more on that, next month) in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
Chris was certainly thrown in at the deep end on a lively investigation, and proved to be very popular with the guests. We hope Chris will join us on many more investigations, with many spooky events ahead! As mentioned a little earlier, we have some news, first on a brilliant new location. We visit True's yard in King Lynn, Norfolk, on Saturday, the 29th of October. It is part of our exciting Halloween weekend. Several private investigations have been held here in the past, and we are proud to be the first team to be aloud in with the public.
For more information on this event, and many more, please visit www.ghosthunteastanglia.co.uk for more details. We have six new dates for Rougham Control Tower (near Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk), for 2017. These are the 24th of March, the 22nd of April, 19th of May, 29th of July, 14th of October, and Halloween evening, the 31th of October. These evenings prove to be very popular, so why not come along, to see why people rave about Rougham Control Tower. Any Other Business. Once again, we have been amazed by the great feedback we have received on events. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and it is fantastic guests that are the heart and soul of this company. Myself & my Mum attended Kelvedon Hatch last night. Fab evening, and a great team. Lots of fun! We will definitely be booking again. What a great team, and a lot of laughs along the way. I loved the
medical room, so much energy in here. The Radar Museum gave us a great night, thanks to the team and the groups. I had a great time. Drained by the end of it though... The unexplained spinney chair and a door closing by itself as much as we could tell. Taps and knocks, K2 activity, not to mention Boo Bear and his flashing paws. Thanks guys see you next time. All I can say is... "WOW!!!" Excellent. Thanks. These are just a few comments we have received on recent investigations. With comments like this, and other's, we will strive to continue providing a first class service. Once again, Thank You. And talking of Thank You's, we were amazed to discover that we had reached 8,000 likes on our Facebook page! When you think back to our very first event in May 2014, we were really happy to have just over 200!!! It will be nice to hit the next milestone by Christmas!!! No pressure then!!! As with all our events, we have our amazing 50p tuck shop. Soft drinks, chocolate, sweets and crisps, all for just 50p!
We also sell energy drinks at 2 X 50p (I was never great at maths, but I make that 1!!!). We also sell torches for 2.50, just in case you forget yours! There is Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate on tap all night, and we have even been known to throw a few biscuits in, now and again! Just to remind you, if you are on Twitter, please follow us.
