Train The journey takes about two hours and a half and costs more or less 20 for a single ticket. You will find a train station directly at the airport and you can reach Spa city center easily. THINGS TO DO AROUND SPA Spa is located in the green lungs of Wallonia. It is only a few miles from the borders with Germany and the Netherlands and often referred to as the Pearl of the Ardennes. It is an attractive Belgian town in a wooded valley surrounded by undulating hills and countless rivers and springs. This highly touristic city offers a lot of possibility to go out and around. Casino of Spa This casino is the oldest in the world. Its building started in 1763 by the prince-bishop of Liège. Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps A regular theatre since 1985 of the F1 Grand Prix of Belgium, this legendary track, a little more than 7 km, the longest in the world championship, well deserves its official status of "the most beautiful circuit in the world". Conceived by Liège aristocrats within a magic triangle between Francorchamps, Malmedy and Stavelot, its route through the magnificent scenery of the Ardennes has taken on a force of character that has stood the test of time. THINGS TO DO AROUND Thermes de Spa The new spa has been newly renovated with around 8600 square feet of hot swimming pools, with water temperatures of 90 degrees. Open for visits ranging from a few hours to a full day, this spa will take you straight to a state of blissful relaxation. The water comes directly from the "Clementine" spring, and is filled with natural minerals good for cleaning the skin. Thanks to the bells of water, geysers, bubble seats, couches and other bubbling water cannons, you will be relaxed, unwinded and tone up. The Fitness and Relaxation area comprises panoramic saunas, hammams, wood s lamp center, infrared heating lamp (relaxing, non-tanning effect). The spa clients have access to a reserved area offering thermal spring and beauty therapies. The indoor and outdoor pools afford a combined bathing area of 800 m² at 33 C. The swimming pools supplied by natural mineral water from the Clementine spring are both indoors and outdoors (800 m²). They offer bubble as well as multiple hydro massaging water jets, water bell fountains, geysers, bubble seats, bubble beds or other water cannons. In its 60 private booths, the Wellness and Beauty center offers treatments and therapies spanning balneotherapy, massages, beauty treatments and body in mind modules. 14
