HOW TO REGISTER FOR CAMP 1: REGISTER ONLINE @ westgatekids.com! Registration MUST be competed online this year! Head to the website and click on the registration link. Under the camp group make the quantity the number of kids you are registering, fill out all of the information provided, and hit submit! Make sure you read your confirmation email as well. 2: FILL OUT AND TURN IN PERMISSION FORMS Because we are partnering with Cedar Springs Camp, there are 3 necessary forms to be filled out: The Westgate Kids Permission Form, the Cedar Springs Waiver, and the Summer Camp Waiver and Release Form (found online and in this packet). Please complete ALL forms, and return them to Sheilah Bombita at Westgate Chapel on Sunday mornings, or to the church office during the week (Mon Thur 8am-5pm) before the appropriate deadline. 3: PAY Payment for camp can be done entirely online! Head to the website, and click on the payment link under the Kid s Camp tab. o Early Registration (until June 28) $225 o Standard Registration (until June 30) $255 If you are in need of financial assistance, please carefully read the Westgate Kid s Scholarship Policy, and complete the Scholarship Application form. Please return these forms to Sheilah Bombita for review. STUDENTS MUST REGISTERED ONLINE BEFORE JUNE 30 TH! ALL PERMISSION FORMS MUST BE IN BEFORE JULY 5 TH! For any unanswered questions, please contact Sheilah Bombita at sbombita@westgatechapel.com or 425-775-2776 Mandatory Parent Meeting: Friday, July 8 th from 6:30-8pm. o Parents will get information regarding check in, meet cabin leaders, get a general picture of what the week at camp will look like, and have a Q+A with Pastor Erik. o Kids will get to meet their cabin leaders and other kids in their cabin!

PACKING LIST What to bring: o Bible, notebook/journal, pen o Sleeping bag and pillow o Toiletries (soap, tooth paste, tooth brush, deodorant, etc.) o Towel o Casual clothing and clothes for the evening services o Shoes (all activities require close-toed shoes) o Light jacket or hoodie o Long pants o Change of undergarments (socks and underwear) o Pajamas o Appropriate swimwear (No 2-piece swimsuits allowed!) o Flashlight and water bottle o Sunscreen and bug spray o Snacks! o Prescription medications** What NOT to bring: o Firearms, knives, or weaponry of any kind o Gaming consuls, laptops, or portable electronics o Cell phones** Please inspect your student s belongings prior to check in for camp. TRANSPORTATION PLEASE BE ON TIME: Monday, July 11th o 11am: Meet at Westgate by Main Entrance to check in bags, spending money, medications, and mail (see next page for more check in info.) o 12pm: Depart from Westgate Friday, July 15 th o 1-2pm: Kids return. PACKING LIST (CONT.) MEDICAL CONCERNS: o Food Allergies? Contact the camp Chef Tim Hedger @ (425)-334-6215 o There will be a 24/7 onsite nurse. ALL medicine (from supplements to prescription) needs to be packed in a gallon sized Ziplock bag labelled with your camper s name and CLEAR instructions for dosage, etc. All medication will be turned into the nurse who will distribute to campers. SPENDING MONEY (OPTIONAL): o Camp t-shirts are $12-15 o There is a snack shack which kids can purchase chips/soda/candy/etc. Sending enough money for $2/day is usually totally sufficient. o There is a missions focused offering each day o Money must be brought to check-in sealed in a Ziplock bag with your camper s name on it. CAMPER MAIL (OPTIONAL): o Bring any special notes or mail you want to leave your camper during the week with you to check-in sealed in a plastic Ziplock bag with your camper s name on it. Label each item with the day you would like them to see it (i.e. letters labeled Tuesday or Thursday will be given to them on those days). *All medication, spending money, and camper mail must be in SEPARATE Ziplock bags; they will all be going to different places so please keep them separate. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. It is a privilege to be at camp. If a child is abusing that privilege, Pastor Erik will call the parent and ask them to pick their child up. This is an absolute last resort. We have never sent anyone home from camp and hope we never have to. 2. The weather forecast at Lake Stevens around this time is typically HOT, but please prepare your children for rain and cold. We will update registered parents on the weather at the parent meeting. Pack accordingly and don t forget sunscreen! 3. Pray for your kids and their leaders! We have seen SO many lives impacted at camp and we expect this year to be no different.
