Arrivals TRAVEL OPTION A UK contingent flights will be landing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) Flights will land between 8:20 14:05 Flying with KLM; bag allowance of 23 kg (recommend less!) TRAVEL OPTION B Recommend people to arrive in Amsterdam at a similar time who are not travelling with the contingent

Travel to Accommodation in Amsterdam TRAVEL OPTION A CMT will meet you at the airport where your adventure will begin! You will be given a one use train ticket at the airport From the Schiphol Airport there is a train to Duivendrecht (3 stops) (where the hostel is close, so you can drop your bags and register) TRAVEL OPTION B CMT will meet you at the hostel (A&O AMSTERDAM ZUIDOOST) where your adventure will begin!

Saturday When you arrive, you will probably be hungry You will be given packed lunch at the hostel (food on flight option A) Your 48 hour travel card will allow you to travel across the city for Saturday and Sunday To help you all learn about this beautiful city, a fun light-hearted walking guided tour of different parts of the city will start your adventure
Saturday Activities You will not have to pay anything extra for any meals once you have registered with the contingent (may be reimbursed) The walking tour will be in groups of 20, where there are 5 guides. The walking tours will start around 1, 3, 5 pm and will last 1 hr 30 mins Evening meal will be at the hostel on the Saturday evening Saturday evening is the first time the entire contingent will be together, so be prepared for lots of fun in

Sunday Sunday is going to be a busy day of fun, so make sure you have a big breakfast at the hostel! We are going to have a monopoly run/ scavenger hunt across the city! Including: A boat cruise along the cannels Statue mimicking in the gardens of the Rijksmuseum Recreate our logo at the flower market Bloemenmarkt And much more!!! And a goodbye celebration from the beautiful city of Amsterdam!
Sunday Activities The canal boat cruise will be two boats departing at 14:00 and 14:15. The boat cruise will be 90 mins, with the start location just outside the Hard Rock Cafe The monopoly run/scavenger hunt is a competition. In patrols, against other patrols of other countries. There will be clear defined rules, points for different things. Most points win. If equal points, then it goes to a tie break. You then need to be back at the hostel for 18:30, where there will be coaches to take you to the #UKRW18Pre48HrAmsterdamNL good bye celebrations!

Things to do in your Free Time If you arrive early on Saturday, here are few suggestions to do in the city: Anne Franks house (book in advance!) Van Gogh museum Klimhal Mountain Network Amsterdam (Climbing wall) Museum of the Canals Body Worlds A Dam Tower Swing
A Dam Tower Swing There will be an activity base on the Sunday near the A Dam tower swing, but it costs 5 euros per ride for those who are daring enough to give it a try!
Monday Monday is the day of the opening ceremony, which is in The Hague! We will travel to the Hague for registrations, bag drops and activities prior to the opening ceremony on the beach You will have the opportunity to sleep under the stars or in your tent on the beach after the opening ceremony!
