LOCATION is located in the central Vermont town of Washington. This classic Vermont town displays a rural landscape of small family farms, widely spaced homes, and abundant forestland. SITE DESCRIPTION was formerly part of a Girl Scouts of America summer camp, an ideal use considering the property s many attributes. Two pine plantations, planted in the early 50 s, exist on the property, and boast an average tree diameter of 13. One plantation is located just above the pond, while the other lies near the property s center. HOUSE AND LODGE A year-round residence and lodge are situated at the end of Sky Acres Road, perched on a gentle hill surrounded by open fields, offering nice mountain views from the outside deck. Electric power lines run to the house and extend along Sky Acres Road to the northeastern section of the land where Sky Acres Road leaves the property. Upon taking ownership, water rights expire, requiring the new ownership to drill a well or negotiate continued water rights with the neighboring ownership.
