Design for all is about finding a new paradigm, a new way of building bridges between the public and the art, history and culture that surrounds us. It assumes it is possible to create solutions that everyone can use, primarily people with sight loss. It breaks down isolation. It is good for everyone because it is effective, positive and inclusive.

CO-CREATE UNIVERSALITY An innovative project on tactile books with the NGO Anderes Sehen e.v., Berlin, Inclusion and accessibility in museums are at the heart of our work, as well as curiosity, openness and co-creation nourish our know-how. We provide museum-makers guidance and advice on how to conceive an inclusive exhibition thanks to workshops and participative actions that frequently embark our ever growing network of partners.

We use materials adapted to, not just the application, but the location. We have built up our experience across many projects with numerous types of materials: natural and artificial, from wood to metal, Corian, Plexiglas, synthetic resins, etc.

Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV): Sign Design Society Award: French Department for Culture: #1 Best Practice 2017: The EPV label is a high standard mark of recognition of the French State, put in place to reward French firms for the excellence of their traditional and industrial know-how. The Sign Design Society is the union of signage professionals in the United Kingdom. This award was presented for the multisensory orientation table designed by Tactile Studio and its partner Eo Guidage. The collection «Culture and Disabilities» handbook for accessibility best practices released by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication promotes Tactile Studio s work. It shows more than ten sensory accessibility practices from our expertise across of all-size projects over France s Culture and Heritage sites. The InterReg Central Europe Consortium has written a report that presents the state of the art of accessibility in Europe. Tactile Studio with the Louvre Pavillon de l Horloge project is presented as the first reference of best practice for accessibility in museums.
