Cruise the Mekong in Style Mekong Eyes was established in 2007 by Nguyen Hong Linh (Vietnam) and Axel Mierke (Germany) to show travelers the unique beauty of the the magic Mekong Delta. They wanted to show visitors the mystic landscapes of the Delta traveling on its traditional waterways. This could only be done by boat. So they converted a traditional wooden rice barge into a fine boutique river cruiser with 14 cabins. The Mekong Eyes Classic was born. Later exclusive private cruisers with one and two cabins were added to the fleet. Those boats were built from the finest local woods. Those private cruisers cater for clients in search of discretion and freedom. In 2016 the elegant boutique cruiser Mekong Eyes Explorer with 16 cabins completed the fleet. All boats are hand-crafted by local experts following local boat designs and specially build to navigate the smaller canals and rivulets which cannot be entered by larger cruise boats. Cruises range from 2 to 5 days and and explore remote and less accessible parts of the Delta. Tours can be booked to travel from Saigon to Phnom Penh, the island of Phu Quoc or as round trips from Saigon.
Mekong Eyes Classic A Traditional Rice Barge Converted into a Boutique Cruiser The Mekong Eyes Classic combines regional boat-building traditions with modern comforts. The cruise boat was built out of a traditional rice barge with the finest quality wood, and artfully decorated by skilled local craftsmen. All 14 cabins provide great views on the river and spacious private bathrooms. In the panorama lounge and the bar area you can sit back and to enjoy the fantastic scenery of the everyday life on the river.
Mekong Eyes Explorer Luxurious Cruise Tours between Cambodia and Vietnam The most beautiful option to travel from Cambodia to Southern Vietnam or vice versa is on board the Mekong Eyes Explorer. 16 cabins in total incl. 4 upper deck suites with 19.5 sqm private balcony and panorama day-bed. With its huge panorama doors that can be opened to enjoy the afternoon breeze, the restaurant of Mekong Eyes Explorer is a real highlight. Our local chefs pamper you with international dishes and local specialities.
Dragon Eyes I and II Indulge in Luxury The Dragon Eyes Cruisers are built in the traditional style of the Mekong Delta. Their elegant and shallow hulls enable the Dragon Eyes to explore the hidden world of small, secondary canals that are too narrow for larger boats. Each Dragon Eyes provides around 100 sqm for its guests. Two spacious double cabins boast a beautifully furnished bathroom, private sitting area, individual air conditioning, and a French balcony. On the top deck a roofed outdoor restaurant, a bar area as well as a sun deck provide splendid river views. The crew with private chef and cruise director provides our guests the most attentive service to ensure their well being.
Gecko Eyes I, II and III Our Private River Cruisers Our most private cruise boats are designed for a maximum of discretion and privacy. The traditionally designed wooden sampans are the perfect vessels for private explorations of the Mekong Delta. The 40 sqm guest area boosts a luxurious cabin, spacious bath room, panorama lounge, all air-conditioned, and a small but cosy sun deck. Our attentive staff with private tour director and chef caters to all the needs of our guests on board. Bicycles are on board to explore serene river islands along small canals.

Our Speedboat Service Our speedboats are the fastest and most comfortable connection between Phnom Penh and the Vietnamese border towns of Chau Doc and Tan Chau. The 130km journey takes about 4.5h including immigrations and customs formalities. An English-speaking guide is accompanying all our boats supporting customers with immigrations and customs.
