The Cathedral Il Duomo Milan Cathedral is the cathedral church of Milan. It took nearly six centuries to be built (from 1386 to 1965). It is made of Candoglia marble. It is dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity. Il Duomo di Milano è la cattedrale di Milano. Ci sono voluti ben 6 secoli per la sua completa realizzazione (dal 1386 al 1965). È stato costruito con marmo di Candoglia. É dedicato alla Santa Maria Nascente.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of the world's oldest shopping malls. the Galleria was built to link the Duomo Square to La Scala Square. The Galleria is named after Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of the Kingdom of Italy. It was designed in 1861 and built by Giuseppe Mengoni between 1865 and 1877. La Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II è uno dei più antichi centri commerciali del mondo. È stata costruita per unire Piazza Duomo con il Teatro della Scala. È intitolata al primo re del Regno d Italia. La Galleria è stata progettata da Giuseppe Mengoni tra il 1865 e il 1877.

SILK MUSEUM Discovered and explored the process of producing silk. (from the silkworm through to the structural process) Introduced to the variety of printing techniques as well as being shown how they worked. The museum displayed a range of machinery that produced jaquard patterns and we discussed how they functioned. Could not take photos due to the rules of the museum.

ARMANI CLOTHES Armani creates high fashion collections and items for clients. One dress consists of black roses on a black dress like the image shown.
BUILDING OF THE BUSTO TEXILE INDUSTRY On 19 January 1978, the Cotton Mill closed down the production because of the outdated equipment.
TEXTILE INDUSTRY WITHIN BUSTO The Museum aims to: Provide for the collection, preservation and promotion of objects coming from the local textile industry Promote cultural activities and information to help scientific research, historical and artistic information available in the different areas of expertise around the Museum.

Facts: This year Expo has an exhibition area of 1.1 million square feet 145 countries are taking part of Milan Expo 2015
The UK pavillion: From the outside of the pavilion we can see a big structure represented a beehive made with line of iron intersected and we can reach it through a labyrinth made of bushes. The U.K. would like to represent the impact that the production and the consumption of the food have in people's life all over the world.
The UK: The pavilion shows to the visitors the new technology that they have reached in each ring of the food chain. From the top level of the beehive we can have a fantistic view of the Expo structure
Austria: The Austria Pavillion is one of the better pavillion of Expo 2015. It sums up the beauty of nature and landscapes. You can cross a path in the middle of the green grasses and, with spotting scopes, plants can be observed nearer.
SWITZERLAND The quantity is limited and there is the risk that someone will not find the things that are available. The general theme of the pavillion is: the resources aren t enough for everybody on the planet so you have to try to think of the others and limit our selfish comsumption.
