CDL will change over the aircraft to SMC on 121.650 MHz considering the amount of traffic with SMC, for push back and start up clearance. All Code A/B/C aircraft from southern stands 501, 503, 504, 505, 506 and northern stands 507, 508, 509 and 510 shall pushback respectively on L3 and only. Code D/E aircraft parked on stand 502 shall pushback on L2 only. Simultaneous pushback and start up by Code A/B/C aircraft on aircraft stand taxi lanes and L3 is permitted. The push back separation requirement on apron incorporates jet blast clearance (minimum 250m behind code D/E/F aircraft and 80m behind Code A/B/C aircraft). All stands in the apron are power in/push back. Power out is not permitted from any stand. Special arrangements will be made by BIAL to facilitate aircraft parking and taxiing out on own power from a parking location due to operational requirements. Ensuring correct pushback on /L2/L3 as per instructions received from ATC is the responsibility of Airline operator. All aircraft shall be pushed back up to the specified pushback position marking (i.e., the nose wheel of the aircraft shall be at the point where the stand lead in line from which the aircraft pushback meets the aircraft stand taxi lane) corresponding to the stand from which push back was commenced unless otherwise instructed by ATC. 5. PUSH BACK RESTRICTIONS: I. Push back restrictions for stands 501, 503, 504, 505, 506, 507, 508, 509 and 510 shall remain the same as in the existing apron elaborated as below: A. Minimum Separation of stands required for simultaneous push-back and startup of aircraft: a) For the same direction pushback and start up, the following minimum separation is applicable: 1. Between Code A/B/C & Code A/B/C ±5 Stands 2. Between Code D/E & Code D/E ±11 Stands Airports Authority of India AIP Supplement 141/2018 Page 3 of 7
