Please take the time to read all the information that applies to your arrival scenario. CREW Depending on your personal crew scenario, when arriving at Boston College please follow these steps in this order (see Map B): Arriving Thursday, June 23 and staying in a dorm: 1. If you are parking your car for the day or all weekend, refer to your map to direct you to the Commonwealth Parking Garage a short distance down Campanella Way after entering campus. 2. After you ve parked: Check-in for the event AND your dorm key at Vanderslice Hall (70 St. Thomas More Road, Chestnut Hill, MA 02135). You will pick up your parking pass during check-in. Tri-State Trek check-in is open 3PM-7:30PM, if you arrive later, you may check-in Friday morning. Dorm key check-in is open 3PM-9PM at Vanderslice and 9PM-1AM at Stayer Hall. If you arrive later than 1AM, you will not be able to get into the dorm. 3. IF YOU NEED A THURSDAY DORM ROOM but don t have one, log-in to your TST account and edit your registration (email tristatetrek@als.net with questions) 4. There is a mandatory crew meeting at 8:00PM in Corcoran Commons where the Kick-Off dinner is served. Please make sure at the very least a representative from your crew-team (e.g. Lunch, Rest Stop 4, etc.) is present. -Please note, alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the dorm rooms at Vanderslice Hall. Please be respectful of the Boston College students, faculty, and campus police.- Arriving Friday, June 24: 1. If you are parking your car all weekend, refer to your map to direct you to the Commonwealth Parking Garage a short distance down Campanella Way after entering campus. 2. Shuttle from Finish Line in Greenwich to our Start Line Riders and Crew who would like to be shuttled from Greenwich to Newton on Thursday June 23 rd please read the following information: Please arrive by 11:45am for the shuttle; it will be departing promptly at 12:00pm. (See MAP A) Please place the included Police Permit on your dashboard *Park along the I-95 on ramp side which is the south side adjacent to the highway. Place the enclosed parking pass on your dash board * GREENWICH SHUTTLE: HORSENECK PARKING LOT Arch St. Greenwich, CT If you are planning on taking this shuttle but have not yet registered, please email tristatetrek@als.net. Weekend Parking at Boston College Weekend Parking is available at Boston College in the Commonwealth Garage. When you arrive at Boston College you will park, then check-in at Vanderslice Hall where you will receive a parking pass. You must have pre-paid for parking during registration. Contact tristatetrek@als.net with questions. (See Map B) If you re driving a loaned vehicle for the weekend, you must load your vehicle Thursday night. Loading your event equipment into your vehicle on Thursday night will save you time Friday morning. Crew Driving Own Cars on the Event Please drive directly to Boston College to register at event check-in the Vanderslice Hall lobby. You will receive Route Support equipment or Rest Stop van keys at check-in. Please load your event equipment into your vehicle. Rest Stop Crew Van Drivers If you are a designated Rest Stop Crew Van Driver, please pick up your van keys at registration. Your van will be located in the MOD Lot (see Map B, labeled Bike Techs and Storage ). As with 2015, you will NOT be asked to go to the warehouse this year! All gear and equipment will be loaded at Boston College. Thursday Welcome Dinner at Boston College Free to all Trek participants who can be there, the dinner will take place on campus at the Corcoran Commons Dining Room (see Map B). Greet old Trek friends, meet new ones and celebrate the start of Tri-State Trek 2016. Dinner starts at 6pm. Complimentary beer/wine will be offered. Please be aware that depending on your crew assignment you may have to leave Boston College BEFORE ride out. We understand that everyone would like to cheer the riders out of the start but it is imperative that rest stops and lunch stops are set up in time for the first riders!
