ITINERARY Day 01: Arrival Transfer by vehicle to Hossa (about 1 hour from Kuusamo) at the gates of the park. Settling in your log cottage. First night, our guides greet us at the restaurant for a traditional welcome dinner. The order of the activities of the week will be given at that time. Day 02: Snowmobile raid One or two by machine, your guide takes you away from civilization for a cocktail of freedom and excitement. Lunch in a cabin with gill and invigorating Lapp soup. In the afternoon, you take technical, trails that lead you to the heart of the boreal forest. Settling in the Tilijärvi trapper s shelter for the night, in order to share a moment of conviviality around a good meal cooked over a wood fire. Accommodation: Trapper s shelter Day 03: Snowmobile raid Long snowmobiling day, not less than 75 km of sportive trails. The great Tulijärvi lake will let you to speed up, sliding sensations on this lake where powder snow is often there. In early afternoon, you reach the canyon lake Julma Ölky, surrounded by rockfaces where a couple of lynxes has taken up residence. You continue to Varikalio wall paintaings. Day 04: «Powder snow special» snowmobile raid Snowmobiling day during which we make a tour in the North of Hossa Park. Trapper s picnic on a riverside and last tour in the park. This will permit you to enjoy these beautiful landscapes one more day. Day 05 : Transfer Transfer to Kuusamo or Kajaani.

KNOW MORE LEVEL: Moderate. This program requires to be in trim and to like outdoor life. Transport of equipment, of food and luggage on the sleds. Snow and changing grounds. Approximately 5 hours of activities per day. GUIDES: Professional musher and English speaking guide for snowmobile. ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation is in traditional cottages, in collective rooms for 4 people in bunk beds, or in twin hotel rooms according to availability. The cottages have the following elements: heating, hot showers, toilets, communal dining room and kitchen. Sauna in the cottage or outside. Sheets and blankets and towels. For nights in trapper cabins, comfort is more summary, wood heating, the rooms are for 4 to 6 people. TRIPS: Dog sledding, snowmobile, snowshoes. Do not forget you driving license. FOOD: Meals: During the nights in trapper cabins, meals are prepared in common and everyone's participation is welcome. Picnics are usually taken around an outside campfire. For nights in cottages, dinner (except in the reindeer farm) and breakfast are taken at the hotel. Note that appetizing regional specialties are always appreciated at the camp!
