The single ticket single Getting around on your own If you intend to travel alone, your best solution is to buy a single ticket. Within Nürnberg-Fürth (price level A), children up to their 15th birthday travel for 1.60,, adults for 3.20,. It entitles you to change at any connecting point en route or to interrupt the journey as often as you like. The ticket is valid up to the bought price level. For example, a ticket held for price level A entitles you to travel 90 minutes in one direction. Singles will find the TagesTicket Solo indispensable. For only 8.30, you can enjoy wholeday travel in Nürnberg-Fürth. Purchase of a ticket on Saturday qualifies you for free Sunday-travel as well. This means that you enjoy additional free travel on Sunday without paying one cent extra. For those on tour now and again... 4-trip All-day mobility for 1 6 persons Casual travellers in Nürnberg-Fürth will find the 4-trip ticket, price level A, best suited to their needs (adults 11.00,, children: 5.50,). It can be stamped according to your individual needs: if you travel together with several people one strip must be stamped for each passenger. There is a 4-trip ticket at the short distance rate K to cover short distances: in buses and trams you can travel 4 stops and by metro 2 stops after boarding. The short distance rate also covers selected rail sections. For adults the 4-trip ticket costs 5.80,, for children 2.90,. Parties of up to six persons can benefit from the TagesTicket Plus scheme. It is valid for 1 6 people (max. 2 of them 18 years of age or older). Instead of people you can take your bike along. 1 dog accompagnies you for free. On longer journeys TagesTicket Plus will pay off even if you are travelling on your own. The TagesTicket Plus for 12.30, for example is valid in Nürnberg-Fürth. If you want to cover the entire VGN area from Nürnberg to Bamberg, Bayreuth to Treuchtlingen and from Amberg to Rothenburg, you can get the ticket for 20.30,.
