Entry request without a confirmed registration is to be refused unless specifically permitted by DD. VFR arrival and departure procedures are preferred. All aircrews shell follow instructions issued by ATC or ground personnel. These instructions may change or completely differ from those herein specified. VFR arrival procedures Aircraft commanders shell arrive to published entry point to MCTR LKPD (see AIP) at the slot time issued and establish a radio contact with Pardubice Approach 127,655 MHz, where an arrival or holding instructions will be specified. Aircraft permitted to enter MCTR LKPD will be transferred by radar controller to Pardubice Tower 120,155 MHz. Pardubice Ground 123,300 MHz is established to control air traffic on the ground before takeoff/ after landing. Aircrews before taxiing (startup) shell contact Pardubice Ground to receive a clearance. Aircrew reporting, ops and briefing room Airshow participants providing static or dynamic displays report upon their arrival in checkin/out tent (pilot tent) situated on grass area west of taxiway B. OPS, ARO and briefing room located to the right of TWR serves as a reporting office, flight planning and briefing room for participants with following services available: flight planning and briefing room (display briefing, OPS and reporting); briefing rooms for participants; Aeronautical Information Service (flight plans, maps, AIP, MIL-AIP, Jeppesen); METEO information; office support (telephone, fax, photo-copier, printer, internet PC); resting room for aircrews; social support (restrooms, bathroom);
Display briefing will be held on each display day at 0700 UTC in OPS room. This briefing is mandatory for all aircrews providing dynamic displays and all aircrews providing the site-seeing flights. Phone number to OPS rooms (will be active from 0500 at the day of event): tel.: 00420 973 241 872, 00420 973 241 871 5. Details of the display air traffic zone, location of display axis, location and frontage of spectator See Annexes 1 and 2: Display area/display lines 6. Restrictions for dynamic displays See Annex 3: Minimum obstacle clearances and Minimum horizontal distances. 7. Minimum weather conditions See Annex 4: Weather conditions in display area. 8. Restrictions Aircraft shall not be maneuvered closer to spectator enclosures than the minimum horizontal distance specified in Annex 3: Minimum horizontal distances. Minimal obstacle clearance is minimal vertical distance over the airfield area, buildings and obstacles in the display air traffic zone, which shell be maintained except the take-off and landing. MOC for fixed wing aircraft and helicopters is specified in Annex 3: Minimum obstacle clearances. Weapons and ammunition, except as required for ballast, shall not be carried (except CZAF). When ammunition is carried as ballast, gun chambers shall be clear and ammunition belts shall be disconnected or otherwise made safe. In all cases, armament circuits shall be made safe. Aircrew shells maintain a radio contact on determined ATC frequency during a flying display. Take-offs and landings shell be executed as approved in the aircraft operational manuals. Aircraft shall be flown within their established aircraft operating limitations. It is prohibited to extend the display by adding new maneuvers or by changing already approved ones. Prohibited are such maneuvers of multi-engine aircraft which in case off one engine failure will not allow the pilot to climb and proceed for landing. A Mach number of 0.9 or speed 600 KIAS shall not be exceeded. Acrobatic flights in cloudiness are prohibited; all display maneuvers shell be executed outside the cloudiness with permanent visual contact with ground surface. If an engine shutdown/restart is part of a display, the spectators shell not be affected by the fuel it may be spread into the air. During the parachute jumping there shell be no other flying activity in the area determined for jumping and all the rotors and propellers in specified area must be at rest until the last parachute jumper lands. The aircraft commander account for checking all his flying maneuvers during the display are not in conflict with this Display Order.
9. Holding areas (see Annex 3: Holding areas) Holding areas are designated for display aircrafts before and after their display. Altitude clearance will be specified by ATC. Restricted and dangerous areas, noise abatement procedures There are no restricted or dangerous areas inside determined Display Air Traffic Zone (see annex 1), however there is in a LKP 6 prohibited area (ammunition and chemistry works) right northwards the airport, GND-3000 ft AMSL (see AIP for details). Crews are asked to avoid populated areas during the flying display to the maximum extent possible, outside the airfield area strictly following the ICAO Annex 2 procedures. 11. Details of local obstacles See AIP CZ, part AD LKPD 2.10. 12. Emergency procedures, jettison and ejection areas Emergencies to be solved according to the aircraft operation manuals. Do not cross the minimum horizontal distance to the spectator enclosures at any case. Ejection and jettison area is located over the wooded area surrounding Bělečko village, 20km NE of LKPD, or wooded area of Železné Hory hills, 18km SW of airfield. For jettison in immediate urgency use a non-populated open area in extension of RWY27 beyond the end of runway overrun. 13. Alternate airfields (see Annex 6: Alternate airfields) A primary MIL alternate airfield is military airport Caslav (LKCV). For CIV air traffic the primary airports are Hradec Kralove (concrete and grass RWY) and Chrudim LKCR (grass RWY only). See AIP CZ for details. 14. Sightseeing Flights Procedures
Contractor for sightseeing flights is a HELI Czech ltd. company, operating 2x Robinson R-44, 2x Bell 407 helicopters from landing area outside of display air traffic zone. A special flying corridor is determined for sightseeing flights, not conflicting with display air traffic zone. 15.
