WORDS FROM OUR INTREPID LEADER Greetings all, Gr3 #43 is a wrap. Thank you to the volunteers who helped with setup, ran the registration tent, cleaned up, and helped with packing up the rally equipment. Even though it was a rainy couple of days ( Friday-Saturday ) a few people braved the elements to go for a ride somewhere. We had enough food to feed 200+ people. We had 150-ish guests. Look for Sam s Rally Wrap-up further back in this newsletter. Check out the what's happening on the calendar: rallies, rides, and other happenings. At a loss for more words,so I'll let the editor use my extra space. I forgot to mention it at the April breakfast, Bruce Bowman has stepped up to fill in at the Secretary position until the nominations and voting at the November Banquet. Thank you Bruce. And speaking of the editor, thank you Sue and Tom for taking on this job. That's it from the Garage. Ride safe. Dick Little details: THE TSARISTA SPEAKS: Hi Members, The June 4th breakfast/meeting, will once again be at Eli's Restaurant, 4102 Monona Dr. at Buckeye Rd. in the Lake Edge Shopping Center. Contact me if you're having Breakfast or even if you are just having coffee. Either way you need a chair. Eli's staff need to have enough chairs & tables set up without scrambling at the last minute adding them. I will need an accurate count by Tuesday, May 30th because Eli will need to have a 2nd waitress if we go over 20 people eating as we order off the menu. Coffee will be put on the table in carafes. You will need to tell the waitress with your order about adding coffee $1.89 extra to your bill. If you are only drinking coffee get a separate bill for $1.99 tax included. A 20% tip will also be included on each food check. Let's make Elie's & the Tsaritsa's job easy! This is our last breakfast there until December 3rd, 2017. Tsaritsa Dawn

Rally Wrap-Up Report Sam Garst Rally Pharaoh The 43 rd annual GR 3 has come and gone. It was a little wet, a little cold, but a lot of fun. We had about 155 happy campers join us at the unofficial opener for the rally season. The 4-H club prepared a fine Friday night meal, the Old Oak Inn did a great job with the welcome appetizers, and the Lions Club kept us warm with dry firewood for our campfires and cooked us a fine Saturday night meal. The Driftless Brewery had two kegs of fine local brew for us to enjoy, and our club members stepped up to do whatever was needed to make the rally a reality. A special shout out goes to Jim Dickey, who along with Angie and Bruce Bowman, Tom Van Horn and every else who collected goodies that helped make our door prizes something special to behold. We lost a little money this year, but a good time was had by all. Thanks to every club member who attended our club s rally and especially to those who stepped up and volunteered.
