challenge your students... You can t go wrong with our Adventure Programs for Schools! SkyTrek Adventure Park offers students and teachers a chance to explore their abilities while encouraging each other to do the same, in an Aerial Trekking Course, set amongst the high cedars of The Enchanted Forest. Designed with all students in mind, each program is built to inspire leadership, encourage teamwork, and build self-confidence throughout this half day eco-adventure. With a focus on teamwork, students navigate through three progressive courses, each with a collection of obstacles including ziplines, climbing walls, Tarzan swings, swinging logs, and much more. with a true learning experience! Safety is our absolute priority. All equipment is routinely inspected, and is of the highest industry standard. Before the fun begins all students are walked through our interactive safety training program detailing each piece of equipment, its proper application, and a practical demonstration of our safety requirements. In addition, our NEW belay system eliminates the need to clip carabiners as you move throughout the course, so there s no longer a risk of becoming detached from the safety ropes. Students are now free to fly through the course at ease, and at the speed of their choosing. We are always more than happy to discuss our safety protocols in detail if desired, as well as address any questions or concerns you may have regarding the various options we have available for children with special needs or learning deficits. I have brought youth from the Community Connections Youth Program to Sky Trek Adventure Park. Having had the opportunity to watch youth test their physical and mental abilities throughout the Sky Trek courses, leaves them with an increased sense of confidence and appreciation for team work. The youth left the park with a sense of accomplishment and pride. - Anne Corrie, Youth Program Coordinator, Community Connections (Revelstoke) Society

skytrek attractions Aerial Trekking Course The Aerial Trekking Course is our signature team building element with three progressive levels getting higher and harder as you go: Green Course (easy) Blue Course (intermediate) Black Course (advanced) Double Black Diamond (ultimate challenge) This is a Challenge by Choice course where students who feel they ve met their comfort level and wish to push no further, can stop at any time and move on to one our super fun activities below! Kids Tree Adventure This smaller Aerial Trekking Course is a great introduction to climbing for kids and allows even the most cautious of children to build the trust and confidence in themselves and their abilities to take on the three-tier course above! Make way for their inner climbing enthusiast as this course sparks a lifelong appreciation for adventure sport. Jungle Gym BC s ultimate playground and it s only for kids! They can climb across a giant spider net, limbo under flying bats, or speed down a fully netted zipline! So fun, even the teachers are jealous! The Jungle Gym is an excellent alternative for children with special needs and those who don t wish to participate in the Aerial Trekking Course. These activities are all about fun! Adventure Tower All the adrenaline pumping, jaw dropping, and thrilling activities your students have been dreaming of have just been handed to you in the form of our 12m high adventure tower! This prominent feature is a huge hit among our visitors, offering: Interactive Climbing Walls (Indiana Jones & Picturesque) Sky Drop Sky Swing Log Climb Net Climb

Please be advised that operations will never close due to weather conditions. They will be postponed however, only if there is lightning immediately above us, or strong winds throughout the area. In the event of a temporary halt, operations will continue as soon as the conditions have improved and are no longer a danger to those in the trees. How long does the Aerial Trekking Courses take? The Aerial Trekking Course can take anywhere between 1-3 hours and the adventure tower about 1 hour. It depends on your group: personal fitness level, how comfortable participants are with heights, as well as how many other people are in your group. Do I have to be really fit to participate in activities at SkyTrek Adventure Park? You do not have to be an Olympic Athlete to enjoy SkyTrek! Our course is designed to support a Challenge by Choice mentality, including alternative activities and four difficulty levels within the Aerial Trekking Course, allowing each team member to choose the challenge that best suits him/her. Whether it s mental, physical, or simply a chance to overcome your fears, we have a challenge that meets individual needs and comfort levels, allowing participants to get the most out of their visit and reach their goals in a positive and inclusive environment. What if a participant of the group does not wish to experience SkyTrek Adventure Park? There is a trail on the ground below the entire course, where anyone who chooses not to participate in the course, as well as those who finish the course early, can walk underneath. It provides a great place to watch, take photos, and cheer on colleagues! Do you sell food and drinks? We sell snacks such as chips, beef jerky, chocolate bars, granola/fruit bars and energy bars.
