How do I register for camp? To register, go to WWW.LakeshoreCenterAtOkoboji.ORG and click the large REGISTER FOR CAMP HERE! button. Next, log in or follow the instructions to create an account. All necessary forms and payment can be filled out and submitted online. If you are unable to register online for any reason, please contact our office. Online registration is open as of January 1, 2019. Why do some camps have multiple prices listed? Our campers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and our 3-tier pricing structure recognizes that what may be comfortable for some to pay may be a burden for others. The top tier represents the true, unsubsidized cost of camp in terms of maintenance, wear-and-tear, equipment, and grounds. The middle tier is partially subsidized, and the final tier is a higher subsidized rate. This system is private, freewill, and voluntary; please choose the tier that is most suitable for you. Whatever you pay, every camper will be given the same, amazing, camp experience. My church pays for part of my camp fees How does that work? Each church handles camp fees in a different way. Discuss with your church the exact amount of your fees that they will be covering. In online registration, you must fill in the For Our Records form with your church s full name and the amount they will be paying. Lakeshore Center will send an invoice to your church. Are scholarships available? YES! We believe every child should be able to attend a camp like Lakeshore. Thanks to gifts from churches and individuals, scholarship assistance is available for all campers. If tier-one prices are a burden for you or your family, please contact us for information about scholarships. Can I make a roommate request? Camp is the ideal place to make new friends! It is for this reason that we strongly discourage roommate requests. If you feel that an exception is needed, you may request ONE cabinmate for your camper which may only be granted if that camper also requests your camper. These requests MUST be made on registration forms. What is your cancellation and refund policy? If Lakeshore is notified at least 14 days prior to the scheduled camp session, all but 25% of camp fees are refundable or may be transferred to another program. If a camper fails to show up without prior notification, no refund is available. We cannot offer refunds for campers who leave their session early What do I pack for camp? Upon registration, a packing list and other relevant materials will be sent to you. This information will also be available at our website under the Forms and info tab. I have another question How can I contact you? Please contact our main office at 712-337-3313 or email office@lakeshorecenteratokoboji.org, and we d love to answer any questions you might have.
