Arkansas Off-roading/4x4 Guide First of all, we want to thank ALL of the Offroaders and 4x4 Enthusiasts out there who have been such an integral part of our company, brand, and customer base! And thank you for purchasing this Off-roading Trail Guide! We wanted to collect all the information one would need to decide the most valuable off-roading trail that are in their state to make an educated decision and prevent any surprises. (What do you mean ATV s aren t allowed on these trails?!) We have included important information such as: A) Are permits required? B) What Climate Type? C) How Many Miles are these trails (according to their websites) D) What times of the year are they open? E) Is there a standing entry fee? If so, How much? F) What other vehicles are allowed on these trails? G) UTVs? SXS? ATVs? SUV/Jeeps? Dune Buggies? Sand Rails? H) And contact information, with a small blurb about the trial itself, highlighting any important things to keep in mind such as: Are there bathrooms available, garbage service, etc. I) A Star-rating, on a scale from 1-5, on the overall value of the trail With all of that information, we feel that all of our valued customers in Arkansas will be able to make an informed decision as to where to spend their precious Off-road Time. Brock Creek Trails (Jerusalem, AR) (479-284-3150) This 42 miles multiple use trail system winds through a thick mixed hardwood forest and consists of two large loops and some smaller side loops that all interconnect. There is some single track trails however they are geared for the more advance rider. Scenic view, creek crossings and Yes Swamp 42 Daily- Year round Motorcycles Some areas Prohibited beautiful forest scenery can be found here. There are four staging areas however camping is only permitted at the Brock Creek Campground and Trailhead. The campground has six sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and lantern holder. There is no water so come prepared.

Byrd's Adventure Center (Ozark, AR) (479-667-4066) This 800 acre offroad park is open to all OHVs and has over 30 miles of marked and looped trails. Primitive and full RV hookup sites are available with many that are located next to the Mulberry River. Park amenities include a general store and hot showers. No Forest 30 Daily- Year round $4 Motorcycles The park also has a 1,900' grass strip for those that want to fly in. The park also offers canoe and kayak rentals and about 15 miles of mountain bike trails. A zip-line is available during special events

Fourche Mountain Trail (Waldron, AR) (479-637-4174) Located in the Ouachita National Forest, this 26 mile multiple use trail system is open to ATVs, dirt bikes and non-motorized use. The trails system is open year-round but the best time to visit is during the spring, summer and fall months. Yes Forest 26 Daily- Year round Beautiful forest scenery, scenic mountain views and several streams can be found here. The trails are rated as mostly easy to moderate but there is a rocky section on Trail #9. Overall this is a good place to take a beginner.

Highway 89 Raceway (Combo) (Sherwood, AR) (501-835-1977) This 500 acre park is open for business Wednesday through Sunday. The property has about 12 miles of woods trails Climate Type Miles Long Dates Open Entry Fee? No Urban/Manmade 12 Wednesday - Sunday Motorcycles Prohibited Some areas Some areas two motocross tracks and a couple mud bogs open to 4x4 trucks. Call before you haul.

Hillarosa ATV Park (Blevins, AR) (870-826-0101) Open during select weekends, this offroad park offers 2000 acres of deep mud bogs, water crossings and muddy trails. Live music concerts and drag races are occasionally hosted. The park is open to ATVs No Forest Not specified Select Weekends - Check website UTVs and dirt bikes and primitive camping and fishing is permitted. Be sure to check out the calendar for current events or call (870) 826-0101 before heading out.

Huckleberry Mountain Horse Trail (Paris, AR) [479-963-8502] This large trail system consists of thee large interconnecting loops. The Sorghum Hollow Horse Camp is the preferred place to access the trails and has 15 primitive sites but a small fee is charged for camping. Three other campsites offer direct access and there is no fee charged for camping... Yes Forest 37 Daily - Year around Most of the trails are open year-round except for Bell Springs Loop which closes temporarily between April and May for the turkey nesting and hatching season.

Macks Pines (Dover, AR) [479-331-3261] Family owned since 1989, this facility offers RV hookups, cabins, convenience store, horse stables and a café. Trail access is across the street which offers 28 miles of marked multiuse trails and hundreds of miles of unmarked trails. Canoeing is about 10 miles away and shuttle Yes Forest 28 Daily - Year around Motorcycles arrangements can be made at the front desk. Check with the Forest Service as they are currently in the process of proposing a OHV annual pass fee.

Mill Creek OHV Trail (Elkins, AR) [479-667-2191] Located within the Ozark National Forest, this 42 mile trail system consists of three looped trails that are connected. The trails are geared for the advanced rider and consists of rugged, hard packed terrain with scattered loose chunk rock, water crossings and moderate to steep climbs. The main staging has gravel parking and offers a loading ramp, vault toilet and kiosk. Yes Forest 42 Daily - Year around $3 The current fee to ride here is $3/person which can be paid on site at the self pay kiosk. The rangers do check so make sure you have the receipt with you.overnight parking is not permitted at the trailhead but nearby Redding Recreation Area offers 27 campsites, restroom/shower facilities and drinking water.

Moccasin Gap Trails (Dover, AR) [479-331-3261] Located right across the street from Mack's Pines, this 28 mile multiple use trail system is open year round and consists of mostly smooth and moderate trails, scenic vistas and scattered waterfalls. The trails are marked, color coded and looped. Yes Forest 28 Daily - Year around $3 A primitive campsite is available which has water pumps (during summer and fall months), a solar powered shower, fire rings and trash cans. Campsite are on a first come, first serve basis.

Ott Park (North Little Rock, AR) [501-519-7980] This 200 acre offroad park is open to ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes daily from dawn to dusk. The park is only open during daylight No Forest 5 Daily - Year around hours and while camping is not permitted, Willow Beach Campground is just a few miles away.

Renegade Ranch (Mena, AR) [479-394-3848] This 300 acre ranch is open daily and offers miles of woods trails, rolling hills and open meadows. The property also offers a full service campground with direct trail access with some sites bordering the Ouachita River. Cabin rentals are also offered and both daily and weekly rates No Forest Not specified Daily - Year around are available. Located adjacent to the ranch is an ancient field that was once the home of Washita Valley Indian Tribes. Arrowheads and spearheads can be found however digs must be made by appointment.

Sandtown Ranch (Combo) (Batesville, AR) [870-307-3357] Located in the scenic Ozark mountain area in northeastern Arkansas, this 1,800 acre private ranch is open year-round and offers some trails that cater to all skill riding levels along with direct access to county and state land which provide many more miles of trails to explore. Trail highlights include a large cave with an underground river and waterfall (11 miles from camp), scenic rock overlooks and numerous creek No Forest Not specified Daily - Year around Motorcycles Some areas crossings. There are also abandoned mines and natural springs to be seen in the general area. Permission must be obtained in advance by contacting the property owners and first time riders need to contact a trail guide. Primitive camping is available and there is plenty of room for RVs.

Sugar Creek Trail (Booneville, AR) [479-675-3233] Open year-round, this 37 mile ATV trail system consists of mostly hardpacked, rocky looped trails that offer scenic Yes Forest 37 Daily - Year around forest views and several creek crossings. Trails are marked with yellow blazes.

Superlift ORV Park (Hot Springs, AR) [479-675-3233] Open year-round, this 1,254 acre offroad park is open to all OHVs and offers miles of well marked and rated trails for all skill levels. ATV and dirt bike riders must have DOT approved helmets which is available for rent at $5/day. Memberships are available which allows guests a discount on No Forest Not specified Thursday - Monday Motorcycles day use riding fees. A full service campground is available which has both primitive and RV sites. A climate controlled bathhouse has recently been installed and a spray hose station is available for washing off machines. Call before you haul.

Wolf Pen Gap Trail Complex (Mena, AR) [479-394-2382] As one of the most popular ATV destinations in the country, Wolf Pen Gap has about 35 miles of marked and looped trails. Area attractions include a unique two footed oak tree and several abandoned mines. The trail system is open year round except during hunting season which is generally around mid November through early December. Camping is not permitted at the trailheads but there are a few primitive campsites No Forest 35 Mid December - Mid November scattered through the forest where it is permitted. Staging areas have vault toilets and can accommodate trailers up to 16 feet in length. There are several private full service campgrounds that provide direct trail access.

Hills N' Thrills ATV Park (Pineville, AR) Open during select dates, this brand new offroad park offers about 1300 acres of ATV trails No Forest Not specified Check website mud bogs and hill climbs. For current information check the parks Facebook page.
