About The 9 th International exhibition of automotive industry Interauto was held August 28 through 31 in Crocus Expo IEC. This year the project consolidated its positions and confirmed the status of the leading exhibition of automotive components in Russia! The organizers and exhibitors joined their efforts attracting attendees and producing quite an impression on the visitors. Mass media representatives later christened the show a genuine paradise for mechanics. The event enjoyed the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Association of Russian Carmakers of Russia NP and the Government of the Moscow region. Official Opening Ceremony The Gala Opening Ceremony of the exposition took place August 28 at 12:00 p.m. It was announced that about 7 000 attendees visited Interauto 2013 during the first two hours. Speakers at the ceremony: Sergey Aristov, Director of the department for coordination of state industry programs of the Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation; Yury Shestopalov, Head of the department for passenger motor and surface electric-powered transport of the Ministry for Transport of the Moscow region; Dmitry Abramov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Kaluga region; Igor Korovkin, Executive Director of the Association of Automakers of Russia NP (OAR); Mikhail Blochin, Director General of the National Association of Automotive Components Manufacturers (NAPAK); Anatoly Alekseev, Director General of GARO group of companies.
Business program A unique event, the 1 st International Forum of Local Suppliers of Automotive Components, was held for the first time in Russia within the frames of the calendar of events of Interauto. The organizer of the event was the National Association of Automotive Components Manufacturers (NAPAK). Key audience of the forum, operating and potential manufacturers of components, representatives from Russian auto assembly enterprises, branch ministries and associations discussed the following issues: Car Industry in Russia and Abroad; Localization: current status and forecasts related to the demand for suppliers; Standardization and Quality. Tasks and Solutions for Components Manufacturers; Engineering, standardization, quality. New approach to the organization of components production. Experts of General Motors, Nissan Manufacturing RUS, JSC KAMAZ, the Association of Automobile Engineers, and also heads of certification bodies and the large industrial enterprises of Russia participated in the Forum.
The Golden Wrench 2013 International award August 29 the 2 nd Gala Awarding Ceremony for the winners of The Golden Wrench 2013 award (organizers: Avtomobil noye Vremya publishing house (KUZOV and Upravleniye Avtobiznesom magazines) Crocus Expo IEC and the Automobile Service Association (ARA) took place within the frames of the exhibition. Companies from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and other cities of Russia took part in the competition. Nominees of The Golden Wrench-2013 Award were presented in 22 categories. The panel of judges determined winners by a method of a cumulative assessment of the following indicators: expert assessment in branches on each nomination, Internet voting on the organizing committee s web site and also poll of independent and dealer service stations. The Car Component of the Year National Award The awarding ceremony for the winners of The Car Component of the Year 2013 was held August 29 and 30. The National Award was granted for the third time already. The work of the panel of judges at the competition was broadcasted online! Leading experts in the field of car components were in the jury: representatives of the Central Scientific Research Automobile and Automotive Engine Institute (NAMI) Federal State Unitary Enterprise, the National Association of Automotive Components Manufacturers (NAPAK) and AVTO-MARKETING analytical agency. About exhibition Visitors of Interauto 2013 had an opportunity to see the best American F-series pickups (F-150, F-250 and F-350) from El Kapitan company which specializes on Ford conversions vehicles for commercial purposes and small business. Another highlight of the show was office on wheels based on popular GMC van! The exposition was of high interest at the visitors.

We would like to express our gratitude to the organizers of the exhibition for their efforts trying to organize the event at the highest professional level, attract many visitors making a great event in the world of automotive industry! Interauto exhibition is considered to be one of the key events for our company where we demonstrate our novelties, find new perspective contacts and strengthen already existing partnership relations. We ll be glad to participate in Interauto 2014 Thanks to Interauto exhibition we have an opportunity to display novelties of car service equipment to the attention of our clients and dealers. The exhibition also provides an opportunity to promote our status in front of foreign suppliers. During the last exhibition we succeeded in finding new suppliers and executing several contracts on distribution of car service equipment. This year we had another stand outdoors, where we exhibited a platform for truck body repair. The platform attracted many visitors because there is a certain lack of similar equipment. Participation in Interauto became for the company a good tradition: it represents the achievements for the third time already! During several days of the exhibition LADA Image experts held a large number of meetings and negotiations with their business partners and with potential suppliers of spare parts, accessories and additional equipment. Exhibitors remained satisfied with their work and organizational level of the event, having promised to return to Crocus Expo IEC in 2014. Alarm Trade company stand became one of the most impressive at Interauto 2013: charming girls, magnificent Ferrari of yellow color and of course novelties in the sphere of security and antitheft automobile electronics, service automobile devices and telemetric complexes welcomed the guests.
