President s Message Hi Gang. December has finally arrived. Time for the Christmas Party and Toys for Tots. We will be collecting new, unwrapped, toys at the December meeting and at the Christmas Party. We always have a good haul to take to the Fire Department so don t forget. At the December meeting we will be electing officers for next year. We have managed to find someone for every job for 2019 so I hope we can have a good year of touring. So, you can come to the December meeting without worrying about being drafted. I m sure there was something else I was supposed to address, but I am running late as usual to get this to Sandy for the Newsletter. Happy holidays to all and see you next year! Redwood Empire Model T Club General Meeting, November 1st, 2018 Meeting place, Round Table Pizza, Marlow Rd., S.R President: Andy Clary called meeting to order at 6:59 pm. Attendance: 33 members were in attendance. Board members not in attendance, Rich Randolph, Chairpersons not in attendance, Vince Gregoire. Secretary s Report: Jeannine Clary read the secretary s report and was approved by Pete Rich with a second by Jeanne Nelson. Treasurer s Report: Steve Cavalli gave the treasurer s report and was approved by Don Johnson with a second by Steve Nelson. Tour Report: Steve Vining reported on the Nelsons October Fest Tour and thought it was great. He thanked the Nelsons for the wonderful food, tour and fantastic day. Special Events: Vince Gregoire was absent. Don Johnson reported on the Sharpstein Museum event and open house on Friday, November 9 th. Museum is open 11-4pm 7 days a week. Display is pre-1916 horseless carriage memorabilia. Come check it out. Sunshine Report: Fran Faraudo will send Rich Randolph a get-well card for a speedy recovery. Librarian Report: Patty Girman reported all is good and available to check out. Webmaster: Steve Vining has the bugs worked out with our website and site is up-to-date. Editor s Report: Sandy O Halloran reported that all is good. Historian Report: Jeanne Nelson reported that photos are at the printers for this last tour. Andy Clary reported that we will have another photo contest for next year starting January 1 st, of 2019. Old Business: Steve Vining reported that our club has received our National Tour allowance and that it will be deposited in our club checking account. Our National tour checking account is now closed. Christmas party was discussed and a notice will go out by this weekend. The club will pay part of the dinner costs. New Business: The Chucks have put together another wonderful club calendar. This year s calendar will cover 2 years. Please mail your $20.00 check for each calendar to the REMTC P.O. Box. We are looking for 2019 club officers, please give Andy a Call, before he calls you, and show your support by volunteering as an officer. Model T Moments: Steve Nelson told a story about a Model T Speedster that has been stored in a garage since 1960. The car was recently dusted off and has some mild cleaning done, then started up right away and looks great too. Motion to adjourn: Meeting was adjourned at 7:35pm.
