Sterile Dressing Packs These packs contain a selection of sterile dressings required in special nursing procedures (usually for post-operative re-dressing of wounds) when performed in the home. A pack is to be used for each sterile dressing operation. Prescribers have been advised to order this dressing only for an individual patient for whom such a sterile dressing operation is essential and to restrict their orders to the number of packs considered to be required for that patient.
