Getting around Bordeaux 1. How to get to Bordeaux centre from the airport (~45 min): Take the JetBus coach which leaves every 45 minutes from directly outside the airport. The ticket is purchased from the driver and costs 7 euros, and the journey takes ~45 minutes (http://www.bordeaux.aeroport.fr/en/info/jetbus-bordeaux-airport-shuttle-service). On arriving in the centre, the bus stops at a few places (Place Gambetta, Quinconces, and the railway station). For the workshop hotels, get off at Place Gambetta, and proceed to step 2. JETBUS Schedule DEPARTURES from AEROPORT HALL B 07:45*, 08:30, 09:15, 10:00, 10:45, 11:30, 12:15, 13:00, 13:45, 14:30, 15:15, 16:00, 16:45, 17:30, 18:15, 19:00, 19:45, 20:30, 21:15, 22:00, 22:45, *except Saturday and Sunday. For your return DEPARTURES from RAILWAY STATION (GARE SAINT-JEAN) 06:45*, 07:30, 08:15, 09:00, 09:45, 10:30, 11:15, 12:00, 12:45, 13:30, 14:15, 15:00, 15:45, 16:30, 17:15, 18:00, 18:45, 19:30, 20:15, 21:00, 21:45 * except Saturday and Sunday. After leaving the railway station, the coach makes stops at Quinconces (next to the tourist information centre) and Place Gambetta (north-west corner near Rue Judaique). You can board at either of these locations, some 5-10 minutes after the departure time from the station. For those arriving outside of the JetBus schedule, taxis are available at the taxi rank in front of the airport, with fares around 40 euros to the centre. 2. How to get to Hotel Ténéo Suites (8 Allée du 7ème Art, 33400 Talence) from Bordeaux centre, after getting off the JetBus (~40 min): Pass through the stone arch (Porte Dijeaux) in the south-east corner of Place Gambetta, and take the second turning on the right (Rue Carles-Vital) to find tramway line B. Ride eight stops (direction Pessac Centre) to Forum; descend from the tram and you will see the Ténéo Suites above you just opposite the cinema. IMPORTANT! Depending on your arrival time, the reception at Ténéo Suites may not be staffed. If the main entrance is locked, use the code 4064 to enter. Inside the lobby, on the right-hand side, a safe box can be opened with the code 3340A. Inside the safe, you will find an envelope with your name on, inside which will be the key to your room. The tramway system The Bordeaux tramway operates from 05:00 until midnight, with greater frequency between 07:00h and 22:00h. Tickets can be purchased from a machine at any stop, costing 1.30 euros for a one journey ticket, and 10 euros for a 10 journey ticket. The machines accept coins and French bank cards, but not credit cards or banknotes. A journey constitutes up to one hour s travel on any combination of trams (http://tram.bordeaux.free.fr/plans.htm). 3.
