Daywise Itinerary Welcome to Korea - "Land of Morning Calm". Your tour begins in Seoul. Day 1 Welcome to Seoul. On arrival at the Incheon International Airport you will be greeted by a Thomas Cook Tour Manager/local representative outside the baggage hall area at the airport, who will assist you to transfer to your conveniently located hotel. Check into the hotel (Standard Check in time 14.00 hrs.) and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight Indian dinner at local restaurant. Day 2 After an American breakfast today, proceed for tour of Demilitarized Zone, one of the most heavily armed boarder in the World. The zone has been protected from human disturbance for about 6 decades. Later visit the gigantic vertical metropolis, Lotte World Tower, with 123 floors and 555 meters high. Dinner at Indian Restaurant.
After breakfast, proceed for city tour of Seoul - Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Museum, Bukchon Hanok Village, Gangnam Street and Samsung D'light. Proceed for lunch thereafter free time to shop to your hearts content. Dinner at Indian Restaurant. Day 3 Day 4 After breakfast, check out and fly to Japan. On arrival at the Narita International Airport you will be greeted by a Thomas Cook Tour Manager/local representative outside the baggage hall area at the airport, who will assist you to transfer to your conveniently located hotel. Check into the hotel (Standard Check in time 14.00 hrs.) and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight enjoy a delicious local meal in the comfort of your hotel.
Day 5 After an American breakfast, check out and proceed to Kamakura the resort town with dozens of Buddhist Zen Temple. Visit the most recognizable landmark of the town - Kotoku-in Temple - the oldest Zen Monastery, with a 13 meter high statue of Great Buddha, still standing after 15th Century tsunami. Lunch at local Indian restaurant. Later proceed to the 1st Harbour city of the country - Yokohama to visit the largest Chinatown in Japan and Asia with large number of Chinese stores set in the colorful and narrow streets. Walk to the Yamashita Park and gaze over the Yokohama Harbour, enjoy looking at the various famous statues and soak yourself in the local atmosphere whilst strolling through the park. Tonight JPY 2500 per person will be handed over to have meal of your choice (We have taken care to ensure that there are few Indian Restaurants around, in case anyone wishes to have Indian meal). Day 6 Today after a sumptuous American breakfast, enjoy a full day guided city tour of Tokyo. Start your tour with a visit to Sky Tree first observatory (need to que for entrance). A unique opportunity to view the city of Tokyo from a height of 350mts from the observation deck of Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest tower in the world. Later visit the Asa Kusa District known for its renowned Sensoji temple, a very popular Buddhist Temple which was constructed in the 7th century. You also have some free time at the famous Nakamise Shopping Arcade where you get a chance to try local snacks and buy Japanese souvenirs. Enjoy your Indian Lunch. Later drive pass the Imperial Palace, visit the shrine dedicated to the Guardian Deity of Land - Hei Shrine and free time for Shopping at Ginza. Day 7 Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to one of the highlights of your tour - a visit to Mt. Fuji. Visit the Mount Fuji 5th station (Weather permitting). Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and often considered the symbol of the country. Enjoy your Indian Lunch. Later enjoy Lake Ashi Cruise. Here you get a chance to enjoy the picturesque view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day. Then visit Owakudani Boiling valley with one way cable car (Weather permitting). Later drive to Nagoya. Tonight, enjoy Indian Dinner. Day 8 Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a full day visit to Nara and Kyoto. Nara - the first capital of Japan. Visit the Todai-ji temple, which houses the largest Buddha statue in Japan and the Nara Deer Park, which is home to hundreds of freely roaming Deer's. Considered in Shinto to be messengers of the Gods, Nara's nearly 1200 deer have become a symbol of the city and have been designated a natural treasure. Lunch at local Indian Restaurant. Visit the Gekkeikan Sake Museum - Sake is a local and the most popular Japanese rice wine made by fermenting rice. Next travel by the hi-tech Japanese Bullet Train to reach Okayama. Enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant. (NOTE - Today morning one bag per person will be couriered to Osaka, so kindly carry a small handbag for 2 nights in Okayama)
Day 9 This morning after an American breakfast, visit the A-Bomb Dome, the symbol of Hiroshima and the only building to remain standing after the atomic explosion. See the Peace Memorial Park with its Museum and number of monuments of peace including the Flame of Peace, Flocks of Doves and the Children's Memorial. The Cenotaph with its arched tomb is a tribute to those who died because of the bombing. Lunch at local Indian Restaurant. After lunch proceed to one of the top 3 most beautiful garden of Japan and the Crown Jewel of Okayama - Korakuen Garden, where 300 years of history come live. Stroll through the garden - arranged to take in water from the river, which then runs via a zigzag brook into a pond and down in a waterfall. The extensive lawn and vast pond create an atmosphere that is as uplifting and relaxing as the regions mild climate. Enjoy dinner at Indian Restaurant Day 10 After an American breakfast, checkout and drive to Osaka, enroute drive through the Kitano town in Kobe, which contains a number of western-style residences called Ijinkan. Proceed to Osaka. Lunch at local Indian Restaurant. Proceed to one of Japans most spectacular aquarium, world-renowned for its innovative presentation. There are over 15 large tanks, each recreating a specific region of the Pacific Rim, taking visitors on a virtual tour of the Pacific Ocean. The tanks include Japan Forest, which recreates a sunlit, beautiful Japanese forest; the icy, snow-clad Antarctica and the center piece of the aquarium, Pacific Ocean, a 9m deep, 34m long tank containing 5,400 tons of water, serving as the home of WHALE SHARKS, the largest fish species in the world. Later shop to your heart's content at Shinsaibashi - the largest shopping area in Osaka where many boutiques and specialty shops are gathered, attracting local people and visitors. Shops of all kinds and for all ages line the street, a roofed arcade 600 meters long. Dinner at local Indian restaurant.
Day 11 Today after an American breakfast, check out and fly to Beijing. In the evening enjoy the famous Golden Mask Dynasty show - an awe inspiring show with grand sets, colourful costumes and spectacular performances. Tonight enjoy delicious Indian dinner at a local Indian restaurant. Post dinner, check in to your hotel. Day 12 In the morning after breakfast, visit the Forbidden City which was the Chinese imperial palace, since the start of Ming Dynasty until the end of the Qing Dynasty. For almost 500 years, it served as the home to the emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government. Visit the Jade Factory (Compulsory Government Stop). Experience local Chinese lunch. Later proceed on a guided tour of the renowned Great Wall of China, stretching to a length of around 5500 miles across China, we visit the Juyongguan pass section of the wall. Next proceed for photo stop at the Olympics Venue of 2008 with its Aqua Theatre, the "Bird's Nest" stadium and the dragon shaped Olympic Office. Enjoy free time for shopping at Xiushui Market. Later proceed for dinner at local Indian restaurant and drive to hotel.
Day 13 Today morning after breakfast check out, visit Tiananmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world, named after the Tiananmen Gate (Gate of Heavenly Peace) located to its North, separating it from the Forbidden City. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history. Visit Pearl Factory (Compulsory Government Stop). Later proceed to Beijing Railway station and board a high speed train to Xian. Today packed lunch will be provided. On arriving at Xian proceed for photo stop at Wild Goose Pagoda, where you will also see the colourful and musical fountain show which will leave you in awe. Tonight enjoy a delicious Indian dinner at a local Indian restaurant. Post dinner, check in at your hotel. (NOTE - Today morning one bag per person will be couriered to Shanghai directly, so kindly carry a small handbag for overnight stay at Xian.) Day 14 After an American Breakfast proceed to visit Crockery Factory (Compulsory Government Stop) and the famous Terra Cotta warrior. Enjoy packed subway lunch and later proceed towards the domes (one way battery car for your convenience will be provided) where you can see life-size Terra Cotta warriors and horses arranged in battle formation. Also enjoy a 360 degree film presentation about the terracotta army; its history and formation. Later proceed to Xian Airport to board flight to Shanghai. On arrival at Shanghai, dinner at Indian restaurant and Check in to your Hotel.
Day 15 After breakfast at your hotel proceed to Shanghai Zoo to see the Giant Panda and the Red Panda. Sitting in the outdoor exhibition area you can see every move of the Panda. get ready to see splendid views of the city from the observatory deck at 263 meters of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, along with the Glass Bottom Floor at 259 meters. Visit the Silk Factory (Compulsory Stop). Enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant. Enjoy photo stop at the famous Nanjing Road and Bund. Proceed to board the Huangpu River Cruise and experience the beautiful skyline of Shanghai. This evening you have the chance to enjoy the famous Acrobatic show where top artists display their prowess at trick cycling, spinning, juggling and Chinese dancing. Dinner at Indian restaurant.
