What happens if I miss the night that I have a ticket for? Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless the event is cancelled by the PIJF Board of Directors. What happens if I arrive late? Ticket holders will be admitted into the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) if they arrive late. Please follow the directions provided by the Event Management Team/Security on arrival. Can I leave the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) and come back? Yes, electronically scanned pass outs are available for the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF). Your Eventopia ticket will be scanned as you enter through the main gate, scanned when you leave, and scanned again on re-entry to the Main Square shows. What happens to lost property? Lost property can be registered and, if found, collected from the PIJF Ticket Booth / Box Office at Brookfield Place, 125 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000. Purchased on the evenings of Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June 2016 at the PIJF Ticket Booth / Box Office located at Brookfield Place, 125 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000 (subject to availability). As tickets are limited, visitors are strongly advised to purchase in advance to avoid disappointment. How much do the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) tickets cost? General Admittance / Adults: $50.00 + $3.50 Booking Fee online, and $55.00 per ticket at the gate Concessions (pensioners, seniors, and student ID card holders): $40.00 + $3.50 Booking Fee online, and $45.00 per ticket at the gate. Price per ticket (includes 3 shows). Transaction / booking fees apply (as listed above). Which credit cards do you accept for payment? Eventopia accepts MasterCard, Visa, Diners Club and American Express. I don t have a credit card. How can I buy tickets to the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF)? You can: Visit the PIJF Ticket Booth / Box Office located at Brookfield Place, 125 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000 and pay by cash in person. How do I collect my tickets? There are a range of ticket collection and delivery options available, including: o collecting them from the PIJF Ticket Booth / Box Office located at Brookfield Place, 125 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000 o having them sent by mail o registered post or express delivery (refer to Eventopia for costs associated with post and express delivery) o purchase online and receive an email, or o collect them from the venue. Customers wishing to collect their tickets from the onsite box office on event day should go to the PIJF Ticket Booth / Box Office at Brookfield Place Heritage Square, near the Old Perth Boys School (139 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000).

What kind of concessions do you accept? Pension cardholders, seniors cardholders and tertiary student ID card holders. These people are required to provide evidence of this at time of purchase or collection e.g. pension card or student ID cards. Please note that children 4 years and under are admitted free. What age are children classified as? 5-16 years old What is the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) s refund policy? The PIJF 2016 refund or exchange policy is in accordance with the AEIA Code of Practice for Event Ticketing in Australia. BACKGROUND ON THE LPA: The LPA administers the Ticketing Code of Practice for the live performance industry. A key objective of the Ticketing Code is to promote best practice across the industry in order to protect consumers and the reputation of the live performance industry. What happens if my ticket is lost or stolen? When a patron is faced with a lost or stolen ticket, they must ring Eventopia on 13 28 49 as soon as this is realised. What are the terms and conditions of my ticket? Tickets are available for sale through Eventopia and their purchasing policy can be viewed on the Eventopia website. What does a ticket entitle me to? The only events which are ticketed are the Brookfield Place Main Square shows (listed below) plus all the late night gigs at The Ellington Jazz Club. All other events (located at public venues: Perth Cultural Centre, Northbridge Piazza, Cathedral Square, St George s Cathedral, Brookfield Place Heritage Square) are FREE. Both nights at Brookfield Place Main Square include 3 bands in the one ticket price. o Saturday: Shai Maestro Sergio Galvao Hiatus Kaiyote o Sunday: Stu Hunter The Migration Gary Bartz Quartet Yellowjackets Patrons can opt to come to the venue in time to see one or all three of the performances. We recommend arriving a minimum of 30 minutes prior the show start time. Please note tickets are unallocated, and seating or standing will be based on a first-in, first-served basis. Given The Ellington Jazz Club is its own separate commercial entity and Brookfield Place is hosting the headline concerts, tickets purchased at each of these venues are not transferrable (i.e. a Brookfield Place show ticket cannot be used to gain entry at The Ellington Jazz Club, and vice-versa) Ticket holders have complete access to all public areas within the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF), including all entertainment as per the official PIJF Program. Pop up trucks will be in attendance at some venues, offering food and drink at patron s own cost. This is an allocated number relating to the number of tickets printed for the event. It is for office use only and helps ensure that duplicates are not forged. This does NOT relate to seating allocations. Seating reservations or allocations are NOT available to any of the shows, it is a first-in, first-served basis. What happens if I miss the night of the event that I have a ticket for? Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless the event is cancelled by the PIJF Board of Directors. Will I get a refund if it rains? The Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) is an outdoor event and is subject to changing weather conditions. The event will continue in the case of rain and will only be cancelled if the weather conditions are considered dangerous by the PIJF Board of Directors. This may occur at short notice, in which case patrons may exchange tickets for another night or obtain a full refund. PHOTOGRAPHY With regard to images being taken during the Festival: In Australia, you can generally take photographs of buildings, sites and people of all ages in a public place without asking permission. For photography at Brookfield Place, given it will be a closed ticketed venue for the headline concerts: cameras (including digital cameras), audio and video recorders are not permitted. This excludes the press/media outlets who will be covering the event and issued with the appropriate media accreditation/access to artists. Smartphones are allowed. ACCESSIBILITY Is the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) accessible to everyone? PIJF is located at various public venues in the Perth metropolitan area. Brookfield Place and the City of Perth are committed to providing venues that facilitate accessible and inclusive events. Venue safety conditions are governed by the Health Act 1911 and the Health (Public Buildings) Regulations 1992. Please wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and take all necessary precautions to prevent injury to yourself or those in your party. Parking is available at various car parks and street locations within the Perth metropolitan area. Documentation for these animals is required upon entry. Is the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) accessible to prams and strollers? Paths and ramps are wide enough to accommodate pedestrians and strollers. Please be considerate of access and viewing of other patrons when using strollers and prams. Be aware of slippery surfaces and pathways during wet weather as there may be water on pathways after rain.

INCLEMENT WEATHER What is the weather like in Perth during PIJF? The PIJF 2016 event has been scheduled for 3 5 June which is in winter. Historically, there are occasional storms, characterised by downpours of rain and thunder. Daily temperatures in winter range from 18-21 C, and 9-12 C at night. Attendees should expect typical winter weather during the event and prepare for it. For up to date weather information visit the Bureau of Meteorology. Please note patrons attending Brookfield Place headliner events on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June in the Main Square will be protected from weather under the cover of a large scale marquee. What happens if it rains? The Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) is a combination of outdoor and undercover event and is subject to changing weather conditions. The event will continue in the case of rain and cold weather and will only be cancelled if the weather conditions are considered dangerous by the PIJF Board of Directors. This may occur at short notice, in which case patrons may exchange tickets for another night or obtain a full refund. Patrons accept that weather they might consider unsatisfactory may occur and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless the event is cancelled by the PIJF Board of Directors. Some outdoor performances may be altered, postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather. This decision will be made by the PIJF Board of Directors in the interest of public and performer safety and does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund or exchange. All ticket holders are advised to make provision for wet weather. We strongly recommend you bring your own wet weather gear. The use of umbrellas in the front rows of shows are not permitted as it obstructs the view of other audience members. In the unlikely occurrence that the event is cancelled, information will be posted on the event website www.perthinternationaljazzfestival.com.au, through our facebook page or twitter feed. The PIJF Board of Directors will take all reasonable efforts to notify of a cancellation ASAP, however please note that due to the unpredictability of a change in weather conditions, cancellations may be at short notice. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Can I take my bike or trike inside the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF)? In the interest of public safety, all forms of bicycles and tricycles, including hand propelled tricycles, are not permitted within the grounds of PIJF. Bicycle racks are provided within City of Perth public spaces and precincts. You must provide your own lock and chain. Can I take my skateboard, rollerblades and scooter inside the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF)? In the interest of public safety, skateboards, scooters and rollerblades/skates are not permitted within the gates of PIJF. Can I bring alcohol into the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF)? No. Security reserves the right to undertake bag searches at entry gates to ensure patrons do not bring alcohol into the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF). A range of venues inside the Perth International Jazz Festival (PIJF) will be selling alcoholic beverages, within the Perth International Jazz Festival venue grounds and designated licensed areas, for dine-in consumption.
