The Best Platform For Leisure Industry An Introduction to the Expo In 2015, Chinese tourists made over 40 million domestic visits and 120 million outbound visits, this is equivalent to the entire population traveling 3 times a year. According to the estimates of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), China's tourism industry has contributed 10.1% to its GDP, exceeding the industries like education, banking and automobile. The World Tourism Organization predicts that China will become the world's strongest tourism country by 2020. At present, China's tourism industry is advancing from a sightseeing-based stage towards a greater focus on leisure, vacation and experience. "The Outline of National Tourism and Leisure (2013-2020)" issued by the State Council has made it clear that by 2020, China will have broadly implemented a paid annual leave system for employees to ensure the enjoyment of adequate leisure time, an improved recreational environment, further promote the construction of infrastructure for national tourism and leisure as well as offer improved public services in these locations. Insiders have interpreted it in this way: there will be a boom in China's tourism and leisure industry. In fact, the World Leisure Organization has announced to the world in advance that China will hold the 2020 World Leisure Congress. China (Xiamen) International Leisure Tourism Expo has emerged from this favorable background. This is China's first international exposition sponsored by travel agencies with the theme of leisure and tourism. It serves as an all-round multi-dimensional platform for services of the leisure and tourism industry chain, integrating recreation, vacation, travel experience, and health preservation.
