This growth was driven mainly by Pegasus, Anadolujet, Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways which made up 96% of the total Istanbul SGIA passenger traffic Overview of traffic The overall Malaysia passenger traffic growth of 4.7% for 2018 was mainly driven by the international sector. The 4.1million international passenger movements was the highest recorded for the month of. The international passenger volume for 2018, despite only 28 days, is also higher than January 2017 which was the Chinese New Year month. It was expected that the Chinese New Year holidays would drive domestic traffic as well but there was a reduction in domestic airlines seat capacity offered during the season. This was partly caused by the continued rationalisation and retirement of fleets by some of the domestic airlines. The passenger dynamics during the Chinese New Year season for domestic and international sectors is as per the charts below. Page 4 of 5

Thousands Thousands Domestic passenger movements 150 145 140 135 130 125 120 115 110 105 100 2017 2018 International passenger movements 170 160 150 140 130 120 110 2017 2018 South Asia, North East Asia, South East Asia and the Middle East sectors registered positive growth in passenger movements. There was a 39.1% increase in Chinese nationality passengers during the Chinese New Year period. All the international regional airports registered double digit-growth for international traffic. Despite the lower domestic passenger numbers, the average load factor remains high at 74% indicating existence of latent demand for domestic air travel. Istanbul SGIA passenger traffic continued to register double-digit growth. The 15.5% y-o-y growth is an encouraging development from the 5.5% decline recorded in 2017.
