ITINERARY DAY 1 ARRIVAL TO SWEDEN Welcome to the Kingdom of Sweden Arrival in Stockholm, a city surrounded by almost 30 000 small islands. Rest of the day at leisure - walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, and the main Drottninggatan - Queen Street, with many shops, bars and cafes. Overnight in the Clarion Hotel Amaranten or similar (B) DAY 2 STOCKHOLM - RIGA Meet your tourleader and a local guide at the reception of your hotel and depart for 3 hrs city sightseeing Stockholm. Stockholm is generally referred to as Beauty on Water, or Venice of the North which is understandable, as the city is built upon 14 islands. It is surrounded by Lake Mälaren, and by the Baltic Sea. City's grand public buildings, palaces, rich cultural history and museums tell her 700 year-old history beautifully. During your sightseeing tour you will visit the Gamla Stan (Old town), where you will be charmed by cobblestone streets, crooked but beautifully preserved buildings, The Royal Palace, gothic churches and excellent cafés, bars, restaurants and Swedish design-ware shops. DAY 3 ARRIVAL TO LATVIA Breakfast on board Welcome to Latvia and its magnificent capital city Riga Riga is the most exciting city and the largest of the three countries. The merchants of the Hanse there introduced their houses and stone warehouses, the oldest dating from the fifteenth century and the nineteenth century, the city is enriched by Art Nouveau buildings. Overnight in the Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel or similar (B) DAY 4 RIGA - TALLINN After breakfast you will depart towards Tallinn; the capital city of Estonia. Tallinn represents a medieval enclave perched on top of a hill looking overlooking the Baltics. Among the remains of the medieval battlements and towers, dominated by the simple arrows of Protestant churches, the cobbled and narrow streets lead through the city until the old square animated by its restaurants, shops, the passing of the little blue train and horse-drawn carriages. Overnight in the Sokos Viru hotel or similar (B) DAY 5 TALLINN - HELSINKI The old town is located in the heart of Tallinn. Divided in two very distinctive parts: Toompea hill and The lower town, centered on Raekoja plats (the Town Hall Square) is still surrounded by a 2,5kmfortified wall. Through the itinerary, you will admire the Orthodox Cathedral Alexander Nevsky and the Toompea castle (home to the Estonian Parliament), The City Hall Square, the house of the Brotherhood of Blackheads, St Olaf and Niguliste churches. Afternoon departure on a short cruise from Tallinn to Helsinki. Overnight in Scandic Grand Marina hotel or similar.
DAY 6 HELSINKI - STOCKHOLM You will depart on a sightseeing tour of the city of Helsinki. Amongst others, you will see Senaatintori, the Senate square s, and its magnificent architectural ensemble. Right around the corner near the harbour, you will find the Kauppatori, the picturesque market square, characterised by an abundance of flowers, fruits and busy traders. TheTuomio kirkko (cathedral) is our next stop. It was built in the 19th century and has an impressive copper dome. Concerts are regularly taking place inside. Another church, the Temppeliaukio kirkko is carved into the rock which cause the excellent acoustics. One of the last stops is the Uspenski Cathedral - the Orthodox Cathedral in neo-byzantine style rears its mighty mass of red brick in the Katajanokka Island. TERMS AND CONDITIONS RESERVATIONS The client will send all reservations, sales situation and final numbers directly to V.O.S. The client will send the final rooming-list 35 days prior to departure. All bookings thereafter are on request. VOUCHERS Vouchers will be issued by V.O.S. for all services required, clearly explaining the services to be provided. OFFERS/QUOTES V.O.S. does not book any services until the client confirms them. This means that V.O.S. cannot guarantee any availability on mentioned hotels or other services in a quoted offer to the client. All bookings are made on specific requests. V.O.S. urges the client to book services as early as possible and preferably one year in advance. ROOMS: Requests for room types will be, at the best honoured, and based on the availability at the respective hotels. Single rooms are usually limited per tour, as well as limited on the part of the availability at the hotels, due to limited inventory of such in comparison to twins/doubles. In the same comfort of single rooms are often less so in comparison to the latter. In the event that the single room is not provided and guest is offered a shared twin room, the single supplement shall be refunded at the end of the tour. Twin/double rooms bookings are accepted based on the mutual acceptance of both parties. In the event that a guest in double room should decide to cancel, the remaining guest shall be charged a single supplement for the duration of the tour. This is also applicable for cabins on trains and cruises. Triple room accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. Often the triple room is a double room in which the hotel will add a 2nd or 3rd bed (roll-out) or a sofa at the expense of comfort and space, especially for the 3rd adult. Guests wishing to book a triple room, despite these reservations, cannot claim discount or compensation, if not satisfied. CHANGES V.O.S. reserves the right to change the hotels and programs as long as the service is of same level or higher as what was quoted to the client. The client is not entitled to any compensation in this respect. LIABILITY V.O.S. disclaims responsibility for any loss, damage, accidents, sickness or schedule changes caused by weather or road conditions, force majeure such as natural catastrophes, strikes or any other irregularities beyond the control of V.O.S. V.O.S. reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries or departure times, without prior notice, should the necessity arise. Luggage is at owner s risk throughout the tour. VALIDITY OF PRICES All rates are net and include taxes in effect of today (date of the offer). Any eventual changes in rates will not be made with less than 8 weeks notice prior to arrival. Prices are guaranteed against any surcharge after an invoice has been issued, unless the increase is due to currency changes and amounts to 5% of the package price or more. The amounts that exceed 5% will be charged and clients will be entitled to cancel their booking with a full refund if the surcharge exceeds 10%. Any increase due to changes in government laws, i.e. tax changes, will be added to the invoice.
Furthermore, all rates are based on exchange rates in effect of today (date of the offer). In case of fluctuation of more than 5% of the course of a currency used in the rate, the impact would be fully passed on it. INSURANCE Please note that individual travel insurance is not included in the tour price, and the client pays all medical cost and other cost involved. It is therefore strongly recommended, that participants acquire personal insurance. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations must be made by e-mail. Cancellation fee may apply for Groups cancelled less than 30 days prior to departure (see below). Cancellation fees for individuals: - 30-21 days before arrival: 25 % - 20-08 days before arrival: 50 % - 7-2 days before arrival: 75 % - 48 hours or less before arrival: 100 % Cancellation fees for entire groups: - Up to 30 days before arrival: No charge - Less than 30 days before arrival: 100 % Flights: - 90-31 days before arrival: 20% - Less than 30 days before arrival 100% - PAYMENTS V.O.S. requires that full payment of group or individual should be made no later than 35 days before arrival of guest(s). For bookings that include flights/non-refundable services, V.O.S requires payment to be made no later than 3 days after receiving the invoice. This amount may be a non-refundable deposit or the full amount depending on prior agreement between the T.O and the client. Payment shall be made in one instalment by bank transfer. In the event that payment is made in several instalments, a 50 invoicing fee will be added to every additional invoice and per instalment. CUSTOMER RELATIONS SERVICE: Compensation claims should only cover the contractual elements of the reservations. No subjective nature of assessment will be taken into account. The purchaser may notify of a complaint for poor or non-execution of service as soon as possible including necessary documentation and in writing no later than 30 days after their respective return. We advise our clients to notify us of problems on site so that the difficulties can be resolved during the travellers trip, failure to do so may result in repudiation of compensation.
