DAY 2 BLUE LAGOON Meals on Board, Dinner Before reaching the city, warm yourself up in the amazing Blue Lagoon geothermal spa, which is famous for its healing mineral-rich waters. The lagoon is surrounded by jet-black basalt lava. At night, enjoy a local dinner of fish and chips with the hyped Icelandic yoghurt, Skyr. This evening, there will be an opportunity to venture out for an Aurora Hunting drive to seek out the famed Northern Lights if weather permits. However, if tonight is not the night, we will venture out the next day instead. Note: We are unable to guarantee that you will observe the Northern Lights as it is a natural phenomenon and is subject to weather condi ons. BLUE LAGOON, REYKJAVÍK DAY 3 Breakfast, Lunch Kick off the day with a Reykjavik city tour, which starts with Perlan (The Pearl) a fantastic dome-shaped glass building supported by six massive water tanks, with an impressive water feature that runs from the basement into the atrium. Then, visit the beautiful Höfði House and the Hallgrímskirkja church, where you can view the novel exterior of the Lutheran parish church tower along with the statue of Leifur Eiriksson situated at its front. Enjoy the rest of the day free at your lesiure or consider at optional tour to Reykjanes Geopark, where you can take the sights of Kleifarvatn, Grænavatn lakes, Krýsuvík geothermal area, Gunnuhver steaming mud pools, Reykjanesviti Lighthouse and Valahnúkar cliffs, the Bridge between the continents. DAY 4 Breakfast Enjoy a free day at leisure, shopping, sightseeing and exploring the city. You could also join an optional tour that departs from Reykjavik, to the Langjökull glacier, Iceland s second largest glacier. Board a monster truck for a once in a lifetime adventure deep inside one of the world s largest man made ice caverns. The caverns are composed of an extensive system of tunnels and chambers that stretch close to 300 metres into the solid ice cap towards a breath taking natural ice cave at the heart of the glacier. 9D6N NORTHERN LIGHTS OF DAY 5 GOLDEN CIRCLE TOUR SELFOSS Embark on Iceland s classic sightseeing tour the Golden Circle to discover some of the most spectacular scenery and historic sites in Iceland. The first stop will be at Thingvellir National Park, a place of historical significance and geological interest. You can also visit the Althing, an open-air assembly in the park where Iceland s oldest existing parliament first assembled in 930 AD. Next, admire Iceland s most popular waterfall, the Gullfoss, and if you re lucky, you may even be able to catch sight of a rainbow arching over the tumbling waters flowing into the deep gorge. Continue on to the nearby geothermal area, a site bubbling with activity and an abundance of hot springs. Here, you will be able to view the lively Strokkur geyser which spouts water 30 metres into the air every 15 minutes. This evening, consider an optional tour to Secret Lagoon, the hot spring nature bath. Locals named it that way because it has only been known to few, up until now. A truly enjoyable way to end the day with a warm relaxing nature bath (there is a full facility with changing rooms, lockers and showers). If the aurora forecast is good, take a walk with your tour manager in search of the Northern Lights. DAY 6 SELFOSS JÖKULSÁRLÓN SOUTH Today, we will make our way to Sólheimajökull glacier, an ideal place to view the geomorphological formation and Along the way to the glacier, we will have a good view of the glacier lagoon and the area around the glacier. When we are at the starting point, an experienced guide will lesson on how to utlise crampons and an ice pick for glacier hiking. Finally arrive at Jökulsárlón, Iceland s famous glacial lagoon filled with floating icebergs. Enjoy some free time to explore this extraordinary wonder of nature, where you may even be lucky enough to see some seals. Tonight, If the aurora forecast is good, take a walk with your tour manager in search of the Northern Lights. and are for age 10 years and above. DAY 7 SOUTH Enjoy a stroll along the black sandy shores of and see the magic of nature in the form of its famous basalt columns that stacks up into the shape of a pyramid. Next, we will continue to Skogafoss waterfall, one of the biggest waterfalls in the country. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days. Finally, we wrap up the day with a scenic drive and a view of Iceland s natural beauty and stop at the unique Seljalandsfoss waterfall, a narrow cascade plunging over a 60-metre footpath leading to the back of the waterfall breath-taking pictures.
