This meeting is one of the best opportunities to get to know your counterparts in the industry and have a voice in how AOPL focuses its efforts and resources. The historic Broadmoor resort is located in beautiful Colorado Springs. The resort is situated on 3,000 lush acres under the shadow of Cheyenne Mountains and offers an award-winning spa, fitness center, two swimming pools, three hot tubs and six tennis courts. It also features 54-holes of championship golf. The resort offers an extensive program of family and children s activities, for more information see http://www.broadmoor.com. In addition, there are number of local activities for you and/or your family to enjoy including fly-fishing, horseback riding, ballooning, and rockclimbing just to name a few. additional fee of $175 per dinner. There is also an additional fee for the golf tournament. This year it is $280. To participate in the meeting, please register online at www.aopl.org no later than Friday, June 8, 2012. Click on Meetings to start the process. If you do not have a username and password or cannot remember one, follow the directions below. 1. Go to the AOPL website at www.aopl.org. 2. Click on Meetings located on the left side menu. 3. Click on Summer Leadership Meeting. 4. Enter your Username and Password and this will take you to the registration page. 5. If you are a new user, please click on Obtain Password. This will prompt you to complete a profile and then give you access to the registration process. If you don t know your username and password, click on Obtain Password and it will be provided to you. Hotel reservations are your responsibility and must be made directly by you. To make hotel reservations at The Boardmoor, call 1-800-634-7711 and ask for the AOPL group rate. The cutoff date for hotel reservations at the AOPL group rate is Friday, June 8, 2012. ACCOMMODATIONS Please make your reservations with The Broadmoor as soon as possible. Alternate hotels are several miles away. The Broadmoor reservations number is 1-800-634-7711. Reservations must be made by June 8, 2012 to obtain the AOPL negotiated rates. Room reservations will require a one (1) nights deposit for each guest room reserved. Following are the group room rates available until sold-out: Standard Guest Room $285 Intermediate Guest Room $325 Superior Guest Room $355 Standards Guest Rooms are 400 square feet and located in Broadmoor West. All rooms have a large bathroom, private balconies and views of the lake or mountains. Intermediate Guest Rooms are located in the West Tower and Main Complex and are 450 square feet or larger. Rooms in the West Tower feature large walk-in closets as well as a large bathroom with double sinks. These rooms offer either a view of the mountains, lake or golf course. Rooms in the original Broadmoor Main Complex, built in 1918, have been completely renovated and offer the ultimate in luxury; separate bath and glass shower, double vanity and views of the city and gardens. The square footage varies. Superior Guest Rooms are located in the South Tower and Main Complex. Main Complex Rooms are completely renovated and offer the ultimate in luxury; separate bath and glass shower, double vanity and views of the mountains and/or lake. The square footage varies. Rooms in the South Tower are all 425 square feet and were completely renovated in 2006. These rooms feature deluxe five feature baths, mountain/lake or city/garden views. Most have Juliet balconies and some have fireplaces. Technological upgrades include fax/scanner/copies, bedside Smart Pad and flat screen TVs in living areas and bathrooms. A map of the resort complexes and meeting spaces is attached. As long as rooms are available, the group rates will be charged for all your reservation dates. If you are planning to extend for the entire week, verify your room rate at the time the reservation is made to ensure you are receiving the group rate for your entire stay. There is a daily resort fee of $16.00 for single or double occupancy. There is a 7-day cancellation notice for room deposit refunds. Should you need to cancel your room reservation, contact The Broadmoor directly in addition to contacting Heather Keith at AOPL. The formal cutoff date for room reservations to obtain group rates is June 8, 2012.

WEATHER/ATTIRE For meetings, business casual, resort or golf attire is recommended. The average high temperature for the area is 81 degrees. The average low is 52 degrees. Sunday s reception includes an outdoor patio area and Monday s reception is outside on the Lake Side Terrace, so dress comfortably and bring a sweater. Sometimes it can be cooler in the mountains. While there is no specific dress code, in years past most men chose to dress in sport coats and shirts, without tie, women dressed in cocktail attire. TRAVEL Airport Information The distances from The Broadmoor to various airports are: Colorado Springs 21 miles 30 minutes Denver International Airport 60 miles 1 hour Transportation To/From the Airport The hotel does not provide complimentary airport transportation. However, the hotel does have an on-site transportation company providing door-to-door services to and from the Colorado Springs Airport. Arrangements can be made by calling Gray Line at 719-363-3276 or using the attached form. The cost for a taxi is approximately $30 one-way. Rates will be significantly higher from Denver. Colorado Springs Airport http://www.springsgov.com/airportindex.aspx Denver International Airport http://www.flydenver.com/ GOLF TOURNAMENT MEMBER EXECUTIVES/BUSINESS GUESTS This golf event is for member executives and their business guests. The Member 18-hole tournament will be held Monday, June 25 at 12:40 p.m. The format will be a four-person scramble. This type of format suits all levels of play and everyone is encouraged to sign-up. Although the tournament scoring does not use handicaps, we ask for your handicap, if you have one, or if not, estimate your average score for a round of 18 holes. This will enable teams to be assembled in an equitable manner. The pro will have the carts set with your clubs and players names upon your arrival at the golf area for the tournament. The course and warm up facility are conveniently located at The Broadmoor so it is only a few minutes to walk the golf club. Box lunches will be on the carts and available beginning at 12:30 p.m. Your clubs will be on the cart if you are renting or if you send them to the Bell Desk upon arrival at The Broadmoor. The fee is $280, which includes greens fee, cart, warm-up cage balls, prizes, scoring fee and boxed lunch. Both team prizes and individual prizes

will be awarded at the dinner Monday evening. Registration must be completed by Friday June 8. After this date, there will be no guarantee The Broadmoor can accommodate additional players. There will be no refunds for cancellations. The Broadmoor requires a proper golf shirt with a collar and no denim. Metal golf spikes are NOT allowed. The resort does rent clubs: 2012 Titleist AP1 for men and 2011 Cobra line for women. The fee is $65 per person with round. They also rent shoes at $29 per game. Arrangements for golf rentals and for tee-times outside of the tournament should be arranged directly with the golf pro shop by calling 719-577-5790 and charged to your individual account. Also, if you would like suggestions for courses in the area, please contact Heather Keith or call 719-634-7711 and ask for the Concierge. BREAKFAST ARRANGEMENTS AOPL will provide breakfast Monday and Tuesday mornings for meeting attendees only. AOPL GROUP RECEPTIONS AND DINNERS Sunday Reception and Dinner The reception and dinner will be in the Donald Ross Room. Dress will be resort casual. You may want to bring a sweater as there is patio area and cool breezes are always a possibility in the mountains. This is the night designed to kick-off the annual meeting by renewing old acquaintances and greeting new attendees. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a dinner buffet at 7:15 p.m. If you or your guest has any food allergies, please note such when you register online for this dinner. The cost of the dinner is included in the attendee s registration fee. Guests may join you for $175 per person. Cancellations must be received by June 8 th in order to obtain a refund. Monday Reception and Awards Dinner The Awards Dinner on Monday night begins with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m. on the Lake Terrace followed by a sit-down dinner at 7:15 p.m. in the Main Ballroom. The reception will be outside on the Terrace, so you may want to bring a sweater. If you or your guest has any food allergies, please note such when you register online for this dinner. The cost of the dinner is included in the attendee s registration fee. Guests may join you for $175 per person. Cancellations must be received by June 8 th in order to obtain a refund.
