(Please refer Married Segment, Origin Destination Violation News in cxagents.com. - Create fictitious bookings including testing or training bookings that could block off CX/KA inventories in the live GDS environment. - Not observing the minimum connection time for onward flight and any other terms and conditions not adhered to 3 Ticket Coupon Sequence Usage Reminder - The air ticket is valid only for specific transportation as shown on the coupons, from the point of first departure via any agreed stopover/transit point to the final destination in a sequential order only. The ticket if used out of sequence will not be honored and will lose it validity. The carrier will not honor the passenger's ticket if the first flight coupon in the ticket itinerary has not been used. - Each flight coupon will only be accepted for carriage in the class of service specified therein on the date and flight for which flight reservations has been reserved. When flight coupon(s) is issued without a reservation being specified thereon, space will be reserved on passenger's application subject to the conditions of the relevant ticket fare and the availability of the class/space on the flight applied for. 4 Married Segment Control - Maried Segment Control (MSC) function has been introduced in July 07 to optimize control of CX inventory. Flights that are on-line connected, whether the segments are sold together or in separate, can be married or bundled by CX. - MSC is also applicable on CX/KA flight connection, before and after ticket issuance. a. Flight segments with less than 24 hours connection time will be automatically bundled. b. Any subsequent cancellation (e.g. Cancel part of the married segments, change segment date, change booking class etc.), both segments must be cancelled and rebooked simultaneously. c. Any MSC abuse may result in auto cancellation and full published fare ADM would apply. 5 Travel Document - Please ensure all names and genders are booked according to the actual name and gender stated in the passport. - Passport must have at least 6 months valid validity or more at time of departure. These terms are used in the Penalty section of the fare notes. Please refer to the same in your respective GDS. Reissue Reissue is referring to any change to the original routing i.e. origin, destination or transit points in the itinerary. Hence Reissue is equal to. Revalidation Revalidation is referring to any change in the reservation date, flight number and subclass within the same or higher cabin, without any changes being made to the origin, destination or transit points in the itinerary. Hence Revalidation is equal to Rebooking. For CXKA - Some of the ticket fare conditions come with fixed flight/date limitation and flight/date change penalty conditions, such ticket when involved change would require to be reissue to newly booked date as long as there is no change being made to the origin, destination or transit points as per the original ticket. This reissue associated to the fare conditions of flight/date change with change penalty will be permitted due GDS is unable to auto revalidation fixed flight/date shown ticket. In order to collect the Rebooking / Reissue fee, EMD must be issued under RFISC 98F and the ticket must be REISSUE with any applicable fare/tax difference. 3
