Traffic snapshot Total MAHB network of airports (including Istanbul SGIA) registered 2.9% growth for August 2018 with 11.8million passenger movements. International passengers registered a 3.2% growth with 5.6million passengers in August, while domestic passengers grew by 2.7% registering 6.1million passengers. On a twelve-month basis, 132.0million passengers recorded is the highest for the MAHB network. Malaysia passenger traffic grew by 0.9% in August 2018 with 8.5million passenger movements. International traffic grew by 1.0% with 4.4million passengers, while domestic grew by 0.8% with 4.0million passengers. Istanbul SGIA registered a 8.5% growth in August 2018. International and domestic passenger traffic grew by 12.0% and 6.6% respectively. Traffic performance for Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad s (MAHB) network of airports MAHB network of airports (including Istanbul SGIA) recorded 11.8million passengers in August 2018, a 2.9% growth over August 2017. International traffic recorded 5.6million passengers with a year-onyear increase of 3.2% while domestic traffic improved by 2.7% recording 6.1million passengers compared to the same period in 2017. On a last-twelve-month basis, the total MAHB network of airports registered 5.0% growth with 132.0million passengers, the highest traffic handled by the network of airports. Overall aircraft movements increased by 1.1%. International aircraft movements registered an increase of 3.3% while domestic decreased by 0.4% over August 2017. On the local front, airports in Malaysia registered 8.5million passengers in August 2018, a 0.9% yearon-year growth over August 2017. International sector recorded 4.4million passengers with a 1.0% increase while domestic sector recorded 4.0million passengers, with a growth of 0.8%. International traffic for ASEAN destinations grew 2.1% to 2.2million passengers whereas non-asean traffic decreased by 0.04% growth to 2.3million passengers. Overall aircraft movements decreased by 0.4%. International aircraft movements grew by 2.0% while domestic aircraft movements declined by 1.9% over August 2017. Overall average load factor was 75.1% in August 2018, a decline of 1.4 percentage points over August 2017. KLIA passenger movements recorded a 0.2% decrease over August 2017 with 5.1million passenger movements. A total of 1.7million passenger movements was recorded for the ASEAN destinations with a decline of 0.8% growth while 1.9million passengers were recorded for the non-asean destinations a decline of 1.1% over August 2017. Domestic sector grew by 1.6% with 1.4million passengers. August traffic for KLIA Main Terminal increased by 0.1% and klia2 declined by 0.6%. The last-twelve-month passenger traffic for KLIA Main Terminal recorded 28.2million passengers a decline of 0.7% while klia2 grew by 9.9% with 31.8million passengers over the corresponding period last year. Overall aircraft movements at KLIA increased by 0.4% over August 2017. International aircraft movements at KLIA registered a decline of 1.3% while domestic aircraft movements increased by 4.4%. Passenger movements at MASB Airports increased by 2.6% year-on-year over August 2017 to 3.4million passenger movements in August 2018. International passenger movements increased by 11.7% recording 0.7million passengers while domestic passenger movements increased by 0.4% with 2.7million passengers. ASEAN traffic grew by 15.9% to 0.4million passengers while non-asean traffic grew by 6.7% with 0.3million passengers. Aircraft movements in August 2018 decreased by Page 4 of 5

1.0%, caused by reduced domestic movements that contracted by 3.8%. International aircraft movements registered a growth of 15.3% over August 2017. Istanbul SGIA passenger traffic posted a 8.5% growth in August 2018 over the same period last year with 3.3million passengers. International passengers increased by 12.0% to 1.2million passengers while domestic sector improved by 6.6% with 2.1million passengers. Total aircraft movements increased by 6.3%, with both international and domestic aircraft movements recording 8.4% and 5.0% increases respectively. Overview of traffic August 2018 overall 11.8million passenger movements is among the highest passenger volume achieved to-date for the total MAHB network of airports. The peak traffic in August was partly due to the summer holidays in Turkey and the Hajj travel season. Airports in Malaysia recorded 0.9% growth with 8.5million passengers in August 2018 over a relatively high base in August 2017. August 2017 had the benefit of SEA Games Kuala Lumpur from 19 th to 30 th August which also coincided with the school holidays. In addition, the Hajj travel contribution in August 2018 was limited to the tail end return, just at the first 2 weeks of August. There was an increase in passenger movements for South East Asia, North East Asia and Africa Region in August 2018. The domestic sector recorded the second growth for a month in year 2018. China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea, Philippines, Cambodia, Taiwan, Qatar, Maldives, Ethiopia, Iraq, Thailand, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia registered growth over August 2017. 18 airlines registered double-digit growth for international passenger traffic, including Shenzhen Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Air China, Xiamen Airlines, Air Seoul, Lucky Air, Thai Smile Airways, Eva Airways, Batik Air, Mahan Air, Ethiopian Airlines, Tiger Airways and Uzbekistan Airlines. The domestic passenger movements growth was mainly contributed by AirAsia and Firefly offsetting the continuous reduction posted by other airlines. Istanbul SGIA achieved another credible performance in passenger movements in August 2018 following the July 3.3million passenger movements record.
