About Us WELCOME TO INDONESIA - Indonesia has the largest archipelago in the world with more than 17,500 beautiful islands to visit. Cruising between the Indonesian islands you will be amazed of the diversity, the culture and the personality of each and every island. There is a reason why Indonesia s national motto is Unity in Diversity. APS Indonesia was established in 2008 to service the growing numbers of yachts coming to explore the biggest and most diverse cruising grounds on the planet. Since then we have worked with hundreds of yachts and helped to bring Indonesia into the mainstream of Superyacht cruising in the Asia Pacific region. INDONESIA Friti Sukma Dewi Our expertise is in logistical support - when you cover 15,000 islands, you need to be good at making things happen and our team is at the forefront in Indonesia. APS has supported some of the biggest yachts on wide ranging expeditions spanning thousands of miles. We have landed helis in jungles previously inaccessible; explored active volcanoes and swum with whale sharks. We have also been able to provide clean fuel in far out places, pioneer a system for Duty Free spares and provide the best docking facilities in Benoa Harbour. In short we love what we do and enjoy giving all our yachts the best service we can so they can explore and discover the wonders of Indonesia. Itinerary Raja Ampat: The Adventure Begins RAJA AMPAT The area is largely uninhabited and has been isolated throughout history, making it largely unspoilt and allowing nature to flourish away from human intervention. Brought to the attention of the world in the last 5-10 years, this secret heaven on earth is one of the last untouched areas. Efforts are speeding up to give this place the protection and recognition it deserves. An experienced guide or two is essential for this area as many places remain secret and unknown and currents can be strong, all of which an APS guide knows well. West Papua RAJA AMPAT Guests fly in to Sorong Airport. Sorong Harbour is the port of call for CIQP Clearance, Guest & Crew pick-ups, provisioning and bunkering. Sorong is a commercial Harbour with good anchorage and is serviced by a domestic airport 15 mins from the port jetty. Provisioning is very limited to local produce, fish, rice and basic vegetables. It is recommended that a provisioning company is used and goods flown from Bali to Sorong. Sorong Airport is only serviced by domestic flights either direct from Jakarta or via the transit hubs of Makassar or Manado. The vast majority of flights arrive here early in the morning. Sorong is GMT +9. Foreign private jets can be arranged with special permits into Sorong after clearing CIQ first at an international airport (Jakarta, Bali, Ambon, Manado). Only APS is currently able to get this special permit for foreign registered jets flying domestic sectors in Indonesia. APS has dedicated and experienced staff born and raised in Sorong to assist with ground support for OV and is by far the oldest and most experienced yacht agency in the whole of Indonesia and especially in Raja Ampat, handling 100% of yachts over 100 meters in Indonesia.
