Full Itinerary & Trip details Introduction Mini Greek School of Greek Language, History and Culture is designed for students who want to make rapid progress in their Greek language and deepen their knowledge about Greece and its culture. It offers an intensive language course and includes grammar, reading, speaking and writing and provides also an insight into Ancient Greek History and civilization. The program is implemented at the hotel premises and the students have a lot of free time to enjoy the sun, the sea and Greek life. Also, students will have the opportunity to visit archaeological sites and museums. Our Greek teachers are qualified, specialized and experienced in teaching Greek as a foreign language. They are available after lesson to chat with their students about topics of interest, and to help them discover the beauty and charm of the places they are visiting. At the end of the day, the students will have enjoyed the famous Greek gastronomy and experienced the Greek music, traditional dances and the unique nightlife. After the completion of the program, the students will be able to understand and use every day Greek expressions. They will also be able to ask and answer questions. Detailed Agenda Day 1 Arrival in airport (Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport). Our driver will be waiting for the students at the airport to take them to the hotel in for the check in. In the evening there will be a meeting with the Education Coordinator and a tour around the hotel and the classrooms. Students will receive the educational material and the detailed agenda, and they will meet the teachers and gain detailed information about the educational terms. Free time and dinner. Early morning departure from. In about one hour and twenty minutes they will reach the Corinth Canal where they will make a short stop to admire the Canal which connects two Greek Seas The Aegean and the Ionian Sea. In about one hour the group arrives to the ancient city of Mycenae. They will visit the Treasury of Atreus (Tomb of Agamemnon), the Mycenaean Citadel with the Cyclopean Walls and the Lionesses Gate. After lunch, students will make a short stop at the city of Nafplio. In about 40 minutes they will reach Epidaurus; This city is the birthplace of Apollo's son Asklepios, the healer, and was the most famous healing center of the classical world. Epidaurus is probably most known for its theatre, one of the best preserved classical Greek buildings and is still used today due to its amazing acoustics. The group arrives to in the afternoon. The students will also see the original stadium and bouleuterion, which housed the council of citizens. The museum is near the archaeological site. It is home to many priceless exhibits, including marble statues from the Temple of Zeus and a unique statue of Hermes, carved by the ancient Greek sculptor Praxiteles. After visiting the site and the museum, students will make a short stop in the village of Olympia, where they will have free time. 3/. Where do the courses take place? You will attend the courses in the same hotel you stay. 4/. What are the accommodation options for solo travelers in this tour? You can share a double room with another solo traveler of the same gender or you can pay the single supplement fee if you wish to get your own room. 5/. What about my flights?
