These islands are pristine, with 66 in their natural state. The area is managed by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and well protected for future generations through programs such as the Ecotourism Certification, administered by Ecotourism Australia. This protection helps to foster the growth of many soft corals, such as the Coral Fans. These vivid soft corals attract many species of colourful fish. Guests will get the opportunity to snorkel when we stop at the bays around the islands. A thorough briefing will be provided by the crew. Guests are also offered floatation devices, including noodles or life jackets. While snorkelling, a crew member will be close by in a tender ready to pick guests up. 2 DAY 2 Night MAXI SAILING Broomstick Broomstick was built in South Africa to win the Cape Town to Rio Race. From there she went on to compete in many famous events including the Sydney to Hobart. Broomstick finished racing in 2000 and in 2001 was converted for charter tours.
