We will leave the busy city of Kathmandu and push ourselves to one epic journey. As we head towards our destination the natural beauty will be joining us along with beautiful green hills, ever flowing rivers and mystical waterfalls. We will cross different towns as we reach the village of Chamje, the gateway of our trek. Day 02 Trek to Dharapani Altitude: 2113M Trek Length: 5 Hours Today we will start our trek towards the village of Dharapani. The trail leads to the suspension bridge as we cross the bridge then gradually climb towards the slippery and challenging path to Sattale. We will continue our trail towards the steep path as, we descend to a grassy riverbank that leads to Tal. From there we pass across beautiful landscapes and waterfall as we finally reach the village of Dharapani. The view of the mighty Annapurna range will keep us more motivated for the treks to come. Overnight in Dharapani.
Day 03 Trek to Koto Altitude: 2640M Trek Length: 6 Hours Today we will be starting our trek early morning as we head towards Bagarchhap passing through pine and fir forests then we will head towards the small village of Danaque. The trail is steeply ascending up to Timang. The view of mighty Mt. Manaslu and Peak 29 from timang is absolutely Breathtaking. We will follow the pine forest trail with a magnificent view of Mt. Annapurna as we reach the village of Koto. Day 04 Trek to Meta Altitude: 3560M Today will be a long day of trekking but a memorable one, we will be trekking through the foothills of the Himalayas, back to the trail through the Sotikhola river we follow the steep trail ascending through the pine forests reaching the village of Dharmasala. The mesmerizing view of the Annapurna range will keep us motivated during the trek. We then continue the trek through forests and ascend steeply towards Meta village. Day 05 Trek to Phu village Altitude: 4080M Today we will traverse our path crossing different suspension bridge, streams and beautiful landscapes. We will continue our trail reaching the village of Kyang where we witness the fragments of the ruined forts of the Khampa settlement. We push ourselves past the Phu Khola through the bitten track as we finally reach the village of Phu. Overnight at Phu. Day 06 Acclimatization at Phu Gaon/ Day trip to Himlung Base Camp Altitude: 4080M/4920M Trek Length for Himling Base Camp day trip: 10 Hours Today we will be stay at the village of Phu for acclimatization as we will train our mind and bodies for the further treks to come. Today we will do lot of interesting activities, we will be looking at the culture, tradition and the lifestyle of the people living in this area. As we are in the Lost/Hidden Valley, we can explore the culture, natural diversity, and religious practices of the ethnic groups like Lama, Gurung and Ghale in here. Today we can also go to Himlung Basecamp for extraordinary Mountain View. Early morning trip to Himlung Base camp is a long but a worth a while. It is also the day for us to explore the Tashi Lakhang Monastery the old Buddhist Monastery listed out of the 108 world s great Buddhist Monasteries; it is supposed to be the last monastery constructed by Karmapa Rinpoche. Overnight at Phu. Day 07 Trek to Nar Altitude: 4150M
Today we make our way towards the village of Nar, today we will follow the descending trail until Mahendra Pul. We pass through the high suspension bridge over the Gorge of Lapche River. Now we follow the trail steeply ascending as we pass through many Buddhist stupas until the village of Nar. The view of Pisang Peak from Nar village is extremely overwhelming. We will halt our trek as we reach the mystical village of Nar. Overnight at Nar. Day 08 Acclimatization day at Nar to make ready for Kang La Pass. Explore the Nar Village. Day 09 Trek to Ngawal via Kang La Pass. Altitude: 3650M/5130M Trek Length: 8 Hours Today will be a long yet the most memorable day of our trek. Today we will get up early in the morning and head to Kangla pass. The view of the Mighty Annapurna Range from Kangla Pass is truly a treat to the trekkers. We will then Trek down towards the village of Ngawal as we stop for the day. Overnight at Ngawal. Day 10 Trek to Manang Altitude: 3351M Trek Length: 5 Hours Today we will descend our trail towards the Braga village and gradually up trek to of Manang. We will pass across some small villages with the overwhelming view of Mt. Annapurna. We will eventually go down as we reach the village of Manang. The beautiful Landscapes of Manang will make this trip more memorable. For the Annapurna extensional you can continue trek to Jomsom via Throng La (5416m) and fly out to Pokhara; and that will takes 5 days more. Overnight at Manang. Day 11 Drive to Beshishar Altitude: 823M Drive Length: 9 Hours by jeep Meal: Breakfast, Lunch We will now say goodbye to the mountains as we drive back to Beshishar. Overnight at Beshishar. Day 12 Drive to Kathmandu Altitude: 1400M Drive Length: 6 Hours Meal: Breakfast, Lunch We say good bye to the village town of Beshishar as we drive back to Kathmandu where our staff will transfer you back to the hotel of Kathmandu. (NOTE: We can also combine this trip with the Annapurna circuit as well as Tilicho Lake trek. General minimum Tips for Guide and Porter (tipping in Nepal are not obligatory but always trekking staff they hope from you to have tips at the end of the trek and they always do their best make the memorable holiday in Nepal). Important note: Travel insurance is mandatory for each member of your group and must include cover of trekking or high alpine insurance, up to 6000m, including helicopter rescue. Narphu - Kang La Pass is adventure trek ; and we never know anyone can have health problem anywhere. So, I would like to request you come with good insurance which will even cover helicopter evacuation; I am sure you will not needed helicopter evacuation but just for in case. Meals that serve in mostly lodge/tea house: Simple Nepali, Indian, Chinese and few Italian foods are available in the trekking meal; and you can order meal with looking into meal menu. Be vegetarian is best choice during the trek; meat item may not be good enough hygiene for your stomach. Mountains made food are just simple; do not expect high about the meal during the trek. Electricity facilities in trekking lodge: Only few places during the trek they have hidro power line but some place you will have solar power system. You will have battery charging facilities in mostly tea house; for these facilities you may need to pay some money (cost about USD 1 for 1 hour charge). Narphu trek; Room in Tea house: You will have mountain hut (tea house accommodation). In this trek you cannot expect high room quality. Mostly time you will have common bath room. At higher elevation trekking lodge rooms are limited. Lodge also offer solar hot water or gas hot water for the shower; service for extra payment. Land transport: Since there are a lot of rough road during your drive; sometime drive journey may not be so present; so do not expect high for the comfortable journey.
