JUNIOR DAY CAMP Junior Day Camp is a fun-filled experience for our youngest Headfirst campers. We developed this new program with fun and engaging activities in mind, including music and movement, story time, outdoor daily adventures, silly arts and crafts, and instructional swimming. Campers in Junior Day Camp are cared for by experienced counselors and aquatics staff throughout the summer. Junior Day Camp aims for a 6:1 camper to counselor ratio while engaging in classroom activities, and a 3:1 camper to counselor ratio for instructional swim programming. Please note, all campers must be toilet-trained. Day camp is a fun mix of creative arts and crafts activities, and an introduction to sports, with a key focus on our instructional swimming curriculum. This camp is specially designed for our rising K and 1st graders who are ready to explore new themes, play and make new friends in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Campers in Day Camp are cared for by our experienced counselors and aquatics staff throughout the summer. Ryan had a great experience at Headfirst. The counselors were wonderful from the minute they got him from the car at drop off. They were all very warm and caring and often addressed him by name. It was a warm and very positive environment. His swimming skills improved immensely and he really enjoyed bringing home his artwork at the end of the week. Face painting was a big hit as well!!
My son had the most amazing experience! The counselors always made him feel like a rock star every morning and the way his face lit up always made me happy!
Senior DAY CAMP Headfirst Senior Day Camp is designed for campers who enjoy the same variety of programming as our younger day campers, but are ready to progress into more challenging project-based and hands-on group activities. Senior Day Camp is designed for rising 2nd and 3rd grade campers who are eager to explore new interests, join in team building initiatives and build long lasting friendships in a safe, positive, character building environment. Each week campers participate in a variety of challenging activities including team sports events, arts and crafts, and instructional swimming three times per week. Popular events include the rock wall and other thrilling adventures weekly! Under the supervision of Headfirst s experienced adult staff, campers have fun developing new skills, exploring new interests, building self-confidence and growing in ways that benefits campers long after the summer is over. This camp is fun and action-packed, combining a mix of team sports with swimming, our rock climbing wall, the Multi-Sport Olympics and different game formats each week. The curriculum is built around the skills of teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership that are crucial to athletic development and competition. Through a foundation of athletic skills and friendly, team-oriented competition, campers will develop the skills of leadership, collaboration, and sportsmanship, as well as hustle and self-confidence all while having fun. The Multi-Sport Camp themes are meant to elicit the excitement and game formats of the biggest sporting events in the world. Each week, campers will play up to six sports, building to daily and weekly champions not only with the gameplay, but also with the adoption and demonstration of important team skills. Multi-Sport Camp was great for my daughter. My daughter isn t naturally athletic, but enjoys sports. Multi-Sport Camp was great for her to learn about and try out sports that she s never tried before. The counselors were positive and made her feel successful in all areas. Also, I dreaded carpool and it was SO easy all week. It was smooth and the wait was reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience with Headfirst!!

Young chefs in rising K-1st, and rising 2nd and 3rd grades learn the basics of cooking using baking, boiling, pan frying, grilling and stir frying. In each session we focus on how to follow a recipe, measure ingredients and practice food and kitchen safety. Our hands-on camp focuses on cooking from scratch using fresh, nutritional ingredients, leaving campers with a delicious sense of accomplishment and a lifelong appreciation for healthy eating. Throughout the week, campers also create their own recipe cookbook and decorate their own apron and chef s hat.
