WELCOME ADDRESS Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the Turkish Society of Toxicology and the Local Organizing Committee, we invite you participate in the 52nd Congress of the European Societies of Toxicology to be held in Istanbul from the 4th to the 7th of September, 2016. The Scientific Program Committee has assembled an exciting and balanced programme where you can discuss and influence key advances in the science and practice of toxicology. NAME BADGES Participants and accompanying persons are obliged to wear the official Congress name badges on all Congress occasions. EXHIBITION Access to the exhibition is free for registered participants. The exhibition will be open on 04-06 September 2016 during the congress hours. Coffee, tea will be available in the exhibition area during the breaks. CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE Participants will receive a certificate of attendance at the Congress. LIABILITY By registering for the Congress and/or by participating in the exhibition joined to the Congress, participants and exhibitors agree that EUROTOX, the Organising Committee or the Congress Secretariat do not assume any responsibility for damage or injuries to persons or property during the Congress. Participants and exhibitors are advised to organise their own health, travel and personal insurances. (+90-212) 522-5555 LETTER OF INVITATION Upon request, the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee will be pleased to send a personal letter of invitation so as to enable Participants to obtain supporting funds or visas for attending the Congress. These invitation letters cannot be considered as an offer of financial support by the organisers. VISAS AND PASSPORTS PASSPORT Before you travel for Istanbul be sure your passport is valid for at least six months from the date you travel to Istanbul or you may not be admitted. VISA Make your visa application in person and one month before you proceed to Turkey to avoid any inconvenience. Explanations: The term official passports covers diplomatic, service, special and official passports. Passports should be valid at least 90 days longer than the expiry date of the requested visa. Visa regime for truck drivers of a country may differ from the overall visa regime effective for citizens of that particular country. For further information, please contact the nearest Turkish mission. Despite the visa regime applied towards the citizens of a country, the travel document holders of that country need to obtain visa from Turkish missions beforehand. All foreigners, except for those exempt from visa requirement, should obtain their visas at the Turkish missions. Those foreigners, who can obtain sticker type visas at the Turkish border gates, may also have their visas at the Turkish missions, alternatively. SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM 4,000 Euro The Scientific Programme is structured around plenary and concurrent sessions, with no more than four sessions running at any one time to ensure the maximum number of delegates can attend each session. As a Symposia Sponsor, your support will be acknowledged by the chair at the start of the session and your logo will be displayed on the opening slide and in the final programme. Your company logo and website link will be carried on the congress website on the sponsors page. All support for symposia will need to be approved by the Scientific Committee to ensure there is no conflict of interest. 3. INDUSTRY SATELLITE SYMPOSIUM 2,000 Euro The symposium will run for 30 minutes without a competing session and will take place either during a lunch break or at the end of the congress day. You will be able to select your own speakers and content in conjunction with the Local Organising Committee and the session will be printed in the final programme and included on the congress website. State of the art audio visual equipment and a full team of dedicated technician will be at your disposal at additional costs. This is a unique opportunity to showcase new technology or products to large numbers of delegates who regularly attend the industry sponsored sessions.
