Alpin olympic games The Alpine Olympic Games offer new and valuable group experiences for your company or club. 20 innovative and entertaining games are available, all themed on the Alpine farming life. Trottiland 45 km Ride the vast Trottiland routes, walk the hiking trails and use our mountain transport system for exciting combinations. Go up with the cable car, ride down for a while by scooter ( trotinette ), walk, have a drink, take your scooter again... Nordic Walking Nordic Walking is a very effective and gentle training for the whole body. The heart-cycle and endurance will be improved, 90% of all muscles will be trained, tenseness in the shoulder area can be relieved, stress hormones can be reduced and, not least, the immune system can be strengthened. Duration: 2 hours Number of people: minimum of 4 Availability: Year round Group rates upon request Climbing route "Chäligang" Because of its simple degree of difficulty (K2) the "Chäligang" alongside the Engstligen waterfall is very popular with young and old people. Climbers have the opportunity to enjoy the powerful waterfall at close range. Local Historical Museum The local museum Adelboden offers a diverse exhibition about traditional life in the Engstligen Valley. The museum opened in 1983 and is located in the old English church opposite the Cinema Rex. Visitors will find a considerable collection of historical and cultural artifacts from the region. Wildflower and Mountain Herb Trail The tour starts at the Adelboden Tourist Center in the middle of town. Walking in direction of Münti, along the Allenbach River, you reach the restaurant Schärm-tanne. Then you walk further along the way up over Blachti to Tschentenalp. The trail leads through a shady forest and over beautiful meadows. Up on Tschentenalp can you enjoy the panoramic view over Adelboden. You return to the village either by foot or by gondola. Duration: 4 hours Number of people: minimum 10 Availability: June October Price: on request Climbing Climbing is a fascinating sport for the young and old. An instructor will guide you to learn the basic techniques of this sport at the climbing wall inside the Sports Arena in Adelboden. Ideal as a recreational activity even in bad weather or in the evening. Trail of history and legends This beautiful and easy walk to the Choleren gorge does not pass along the classic route. You walk via Schmittengraben on towards Margeli and Zwischenpörtern. The level trail then leads to Holzachseggen, where the impressive cascades of Tschentenbach are not far away. On the way back, you follow the slightly ascending trail in the direction of Griessi and Bütscheggen. The way leads back to the village via Ausserschwand. During the walk, the guide tells stories about original village characters and talks about traditions and legends of the region. Duration: 3 hours Number of people: minimum 10 Mountainbiking / Cycling Adelboden and Frutigen offer a wide range of possibilities for cyclists, from pleasant cycle paths up to challenging mountain bike tracks and skill-parcourse. Between Hahnenmoospass and the Lake of Thun there are 20 sign-posted cycle trails of varying degrees of distance and difficulty. If you prefer to cycle only downhill, your bike can be transported up the mountain free of additional charge in the gondolas or cable cars. Ice Stock Sport Ice Stock is is a game comparable with Boccia Ball, but the technique on the ice is not as easy! The sport offers a fun and unique activity for groups of all ages. The rules of the game are simple and easy to understand. Even with no previous experience, playing ice stock is exciting and fun. Alpine cheese-making visits See close up exactly how the famous and fresh Adelbodner or Frutiger Alpine cheese is made, and taste it on the spot. Visitors are treated to a little journey back in time. The cheese is made just like it was made a hundred years ago, over an open fire in a homey atmosphere.
