AFRICA OPEN SKIES Yamoussoukro Declaration -1988 A declaration in which many African countries agreed to principles of air services liberalization Yamoussoukro Decision -1999 It commits its 44 signatory countries to deregulate air services, and promote regional air markets open to transnational competition. Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) 2015 It is a flagship project of the African Union and an initiative to create a single unified air transport market in Africa. It is the single largest air transport policy in Africa.
