Mr. Bruce Chen, Community Engagement Coordinator - Scholars of Sustenance Foundation Bruce s passion for the environment started since young as he grew up contributing his time volunteering at Love Wildlife Foundation and holds a bachelor s degree in Environmental Science. He is constantly involved in researches and providing lectures on sustainable development programs. Bruce will be returning to Mahidol University as a proud alumnus of the university and a Community Engagement Coordinator for Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) Foundation which is known as the pioneer of food rescue operations in Thailand. He is determined to change the general public s perception towards food waste and surplus food although it is still a new agenda to the country. Mr. Chris Regel, Business Development Manager - Winnow Solutions Experienced Business Development Manager with a demonstrated history of working in multiple disciplines within the hospitality industry. Skilled in Sustainability Consultancy, Hotel Development, Food & Beverage Operations, Front Office Operations, and Customer Service. Chris holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) focused in International Hotel & Tourism Management from Vatel International Business School, Nimes, France and a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from the Pennsylvania State University. Ms. JC Wong, YTP Ambassador PATA JC Wong moved to Thailand from Malaysia to explore career opportunities and pursue her passion in Human Capital Development (HCD), which was inspired from her time as the first Chairperson of the PATA Malaysia Taylor s Student Chapter. Prior to becoming PATA s Young Tourism Professional (YTP) Ambassador, she spent three years in the Communications and Marketing Department for PATA Headquarters where she manages the Association s digital platforms and organised numerous PATA conferences and workshops throughout the Asia Pacific region, including the PATA/UNWTO Ministerial Debate. In relation to her passion, JC has initiated various social media platforms to connect PATA Youth, brought youthful voices to annual committee meetings, and formed partnerships with several PATA member organisations to empower youth for their future.
Ms. Juthamas Carranco (Kwan), Director of Business Development - SO Sofitel Bangkok Kwan is holding a Bachelor s degree in Communication Arts from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and a Master degree in Marketing Management from Griffith University, Australia. She has almost 20 years of experience in hospitality industry, particularly in five stars and luxury hotels i.e. Royal Orchid Sheraton, Conrad Bangkok, Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok and currently holding a position of Director of Business Development at SO Sofitel Bangkok, a flagship of SO/ Hotels & Resorts in the world. She has a strong background in sales and marketing in various business segment including corporate, leisure, MICE, event management, revenue management and sales distribution and has experience as a guest speaker for leading universities and for local and international conferences. In recognition to her contributions and talents, she was nominated to participate the Starwood Hotels & Resorts High Potential Program 2011 and AccorHotels IHMP Class 2017 (Fast track GM development program). Ms Laddawan Jianvittayakit, Lecturer Mahidol University International College Laddawan Jianvittayakit works as a lecturer in the Tourism and Hospitality Management Division, Mahidol University International College, Thailand. She is a manager of Creative Academy for Cultural and Heritage Tourism, organizing and managing consultancy and training projects in tourism development. She has occupied various roles in tourism and international education fields for over 18 years. Her research interests focus on educational tourism, digital tourism, IT for tourism, creative tourism, participative approach in tourism management, and sustainable development. Mr. Marius Herrmann, Project Manager - YAANA Ventures Hospitality Marius was born in Germany but has spent extensive amounts of time in the eastern hemisphere; some of his stopover destinations include Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and Laos. He has a deep curiosity for culture, nature and adventure based-activities. His eagerness to learn from and engage with local people and his knowledge of sustainability and wildlife conservation led him to a job as Project Manager at YAANA Ventures.
Ms. Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk, Vice President for Sales - Dusit International Ms Tantiprasertsuk has worked for Dusit International since 2015 as General Manager of Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket Resort. She studied Hotel Management at London City College and counts hotel companies such as Peninsula Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Anantara among her former employers. In her new position she will oversee MICE, Online Travel Agents, Global Sales Offices, Hotel Sales, and Revenue Management. Mr. Roberto Gozzoli, Chairman Mahidol University International College Robert has many over 10 years of experience in academic sector since he graduated from University of Birmingham in Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology. He started his education career with University of Turin followed by Siam University and now, with Mahidol University International College. As a dedicated archaeologist and heritage management researcher, Roberto publishes books and papers on sustainable tourism focusing on culture and heritage. Dr Walanchalee Wattanacharoensil, Assistant Professor in the Tourism and Hospitality Management Division - Mahidol University International College Walanchalee Wattanacharoensil is currently an Assistant Professor in the Tourism and Hospitality Management Division, Mahidol University International College, Thailand. She had years of working experience in the airline industry. Walanchalee s research interests include service experience in relation to travel and tourism industry, airline service quality, airport experience, and tourist decision making. Her research articles have been published in the refereed journals listed in Web of Science (SSCI) and Scopus databases.
