READY TO LEAD goal setting service to others healthy relationships safety and wellbeing our role as leaders character development leadership development teamwork safe choices LEADERSHIP CAMP Graduates of 8th grade (application is required) At Leadership Camp we help develop the skills needed to work with others. Campers learn to recognize their strengths as they lead. Previous campers have told us: it never seemed like learning but I sure got a lot out of this camp or it was my best week of the year. Come to Camp Nan A Bo Sho and meet peers you may attend high school with. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: overnight canoe trip, low ropes course, high ropes course, climbing wall, zip line, sailing, swimming, archery and riflery. You will work with other teens to achieve group goals, push your comfort zone and be amazed at what can be accomplished working as a team. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: leadership styles, teamwork, low ropes course, high ropes course, climbing wall, zip line, plus a three day/two night out of camp canoe trip. FAMILY PROGRAMMING Family programs provide time for families to connect and spend quality time together in the unique camp environment. Fee includes food, lodging, and all the activities camp has to offer. Create life long memories and a family tradition while experiencing the safe, fun activities, and great staff at camp. All summer leaders participate in an extensive training program prior to the camp season. HEALTH AND SAFETY Careful supervision is the number one priority at YMCA Camp Nan A Bo Sho. A qualified medical staff member is on duty to treat minor injuries and illnesses in our well-equipped medical lodge. Nicolet Medical Clinic in Lakewood and Langlade Memorial Hospital are available for emergencies. Required medical forms, which must be signed by your child s doctor, will be e-mailed after registration. Campers must provide their own health and accident insurance. *Why the fee options? Please see registration form for an explanation of the fee options.? CABINS Most campers live in cabins. Restrooms and individual hot showers are centrally located between the girls and boys cabins. Campers live with staff, who provide direction for cabin groups to work together, play together and develop friendships. DINING HALL Meals at YMCA Camp Nan A Bo Sho are served in our dining hall located in the Orbison Lodge. Campers eat as a cabin group. Meals are all you care to eat, kid friendly and healthy. BUS SERVICE Bus transportation is available, for an additional cost, to and from the Apple Creek YMCA located at 2851 E Apple Creek Rd. Appleton, WI 54913. CAMP STORE Camp has a store on its premises where your child may purchase items such as T-shirts, stuffed animals, novelties, snacks, postcards, etc. EARN YOUR WAY TO CAMP CAMP FAMILY FUN NIGHT Join us at the Downtown Appleton YMCA on March 19, 2016 for a night of family fun and earn money to reduce your camp costs. Sell tickets to friends, neighbors, relatives, anyone you wish, to attend Camp Nan A Bo Sho family night. 100% of tickets sales reduce your cost of camp. Camp staff will host this night playing games and teaching camp songs. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE The YMCA welcomes all who wish to participate and believe that no one should be denied access to Camp based on their ability to pay. Financial assistance is available through the YMCA of the Fox Cities Annual Campaign

2016 REGISTRATION* We understand that our camp families have differing means to pay for their child(ren) s camp experiences and therefore Camp Nan A Bo Sho offers a voluntary three range personal pricing structure to accommodate all financial needs. This voluntary pricing structure does not influence the quality of your child(ren) s camp experience. ALL CAMPERS RECEIVE THE SAME CAMP EXPERIENCE. We have provided the true costs of a YMCA Camp Nan A Bo Sho program and allow families the opportunity to decide how much they can financially contribute toward their child(ren) s camp experience. Please consider selecting the highest range your family can afford. The range you choose is up to you. As always, financial assistance is available through the YMCA of the Fox Cities Annual Campaign. The friend that you refer will also receive a $25 discount. There is no maximum credit amount so recruit as many friends as you can. THE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. FINAL PAYMENT AND PHYSICAL FORMS: Final payment and a current physical form is due four weeks prior to the departure for camp. A current physical form is one completed within 12 months before leaving for camp. Camp program fees will only be refunded in case of medical disability. There will be NO REFUNDS when a child goes home early due to homesickness or disciplinary action. SIBLING DISCOUNTS: Brothers and sisters of campers receive a $25 DISCOUNT for every session they attend. PARENT/GUARDIAN PERMISSION: I give permission for my child/ren to participate in all phases of the YMCA Camp Nan A Bo Sho programs. This would include the approval of my child/ren to participate in any trip program that consist of either day long, or multi-night trips away from camp. In case of an accident or illness, the camp director has my permission to secure medical attention if unable to communicate with me immediately. I will notify the camp director if my child has any serious restrictions related to her/his participation in the camp program. I understand that the camp fee does not include accident or health insurance. I consent and authorize YMCA Camp Nan A Bo Sho to use any photographs or videos taken of my child/ren for official camp use, including but not limited to the YMCA website and social media, without compensation. I understand and acknowledge if my child/ren needs to be removed from camp I have 12 hours to pick-up my child/ren at camp. I understand that all camp refunds (including but not limited to camp store refunds) must be cashed before October 31st. After that time the refund will be donated to the Annual Campaign/ Camp Financial Assistance fund.
