This summer we will explore how God calls each of us to do God s work in the world! Everyone has a part when God is in Action! Christian Growth In Cross Trails Ministry summer camps, campers and leaders come together to share unique experiences in Christian community. Interactive Bible study and worship are a part of each day. Campers play, explore and discover a deeper, personal faith while forming friendships and developing skills that last a lifetime. College-Age Staff Our counselor staff are college-age, enthusiastic role models for young people. They undergo an extensive application process before participating in our in-depth staff training. FUN Camp Activities for All Ages Campers attend our camp programs for years and always find something new! We strive to make each of our programs appropriate to the developmental level of the campers. Depending on the site and program, campers have more options as they get older that allow them to explore and develop their talents, life skills, and faith. This is the highest standard for safety and risk management found in camps. Affordable Camps and Financial Aid Camperships We strive to keep our prices as affordable as possible. Thanks to generous donors, the fees only cover about 70% of the cost of camp. We also provide financial aid Camperships to campers whose families cannot afford the full fee. This summer we will be taking youth that have a heart for service, ministry, and adventure to Dr. Eduardo Roig Lutheran Camp for several days to serve and play. We will also be attending church at a local congregation and exploring what Puerto Rico has to offer such as islands, beaches, and rainforests. Our experience will include online meetings, and a pre-trip gathering at Chrysalis to get to know each other and prepare participants for this lifetime experience. Individual Registration: Campers can come on their own or with a friend to all of our programs except Confirmation Camp which is group registration only. Individual registration opens January 7, 2019. 1. Select a program, site and date based on the camper s current (2018-2019) grade level. 2. Read through our Policies and Procedures. 3. Go to www.crosstrails.org to register, or fill out the registration form in this brochure. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required. Group Registration: Groups can register early! 1. If you would like to reserve space for a group of 3 or more in a program, contact our office or visit www. crosstrails.org to obtain group reservation materials. 2. If you are part of a group reservation, ask your group leader what dates, program and site are reserved and complete your individual registration by March 1st. Note that you are part of a group so that the group deposit is applied. LYLE III Registration: Because of the nature of this program, we require an application form from potential participants. Applications are available from our office and online at www.crosstrails.org. Cross Trails Ministry offers retreats for youth, adults and families year round. Both Camp Chrysalis and Ebert Ranch Camp are available in the non-summer season and select weekends in the summer. Hosted Rental Retreats can be reserved by groups year round. Schools, families, churches, community groups and more can enjoy our activities, meeting and gathering spaces, and Christian hospitality. Multiple Program Discounts: A camper who attends more than one overnight program in a summer can receive a discount of $30 off the second program week. Household Maximum: The Household Maximum for Family Camp and Family Ranch Camp applies to up to two adults and their minor children who live in the same household. Additional children, or adults, must pay separately. The Household Maximum for Grandparent Camp applies to up to two adults and up to eight minor grandchildren. Camper Behavior: We reserve the right to dismiss campers from any program if their behavior is disruptive or destructive to other individuals, the camp community or camp property. Health and Special Needs: Prior to arriving, all campers must complete a health and release form. Please call Cross Trails Ministry regarding any unusual health, emotional, mental or physical concerns of your child. Cross Trails Ministry welcomes participation in our programs by campers with special needs. However, we are not equipped to provide staff for campers that require one on one care.
