Locations Locations in Eindhoven TU/e Campus Strijp-S Student Hotel Stratumseind Getting to Eindhoven by air Eindhoven Airport is the second largest airport in the Netherlands, serving over 1.6 million passengers yearly. The airport serves Air France flights (operated by CityJet), as well as budget airlines Ryanair, Transavia.com, and Wizz Air. From Eindhoven (EIN) Airport you can reach Eindhoven Central Station by the direct bus lines 400 and 401. The bus ride takes 30min and buses depart every 10min. From the central station it a just 3min walk to the Student Hotel. From Schiphol Airport (AMS) in Amsterdam you can get a direct connection by train which takes you to Eindhoven in one and a half hours. From Düsseldorf (DUS - Germany) airport you can take a bus (operators: Flixbus, RegioJet) to get to Eindhoven in about 105min. From Brussels airport (BRU - Belgium) it takes about 3h to Eindhoven by bus (buses leaving from Bruxelles, Gare du Nord a 15min train ride from the airport). A train connection via Breda takes about 2h to Eindhoven.
Locations Locations in Eindhoven Getting to Eindhoven by rail The main Eindhoven railway station is located in the heart of the city, just 100m from the Student Hotel. As the city is a major interchange station for the region, it can be reached from every major city in the Netherlands. From Amsterdam, Eindhoven is just one hour 20 minutes away by non-stop train making it well accessible via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The operator of Dutch railways is Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). The Netherlands to not have a High-speed Rail network but trains in general are reliable and of good quality. Eindhoven Central Station is about 3min walk from the Student Hotel. Link to NS website: https://www.ns.nl/en Getting to Eindhoven by bus: Eindhoven is a mayor hub for intercity bus travel with several large bus companies stopping directly in the city center next to the Student Hotel. The busses mainly stop at the main station which is a 3min walk to the Student Hotel. A good website to check for bus connections is. https://www.goeuro.com/buses/ Flixbus as Europe s biggest provider of intercity bus services has direct connections from many locations in Europe as you can see in the map below with enough time and maybe one interchange, you can reach Eindhoven from virtually anywhere in Europe.
