(College- University) Screws were removed and the door lock was breached. R/P advises that sometime between 6:00pm and the following morning at 8:50am someone entered school by removing the screws from door lock and breaching the door. Unknown if anything was taken. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 10/30/2017 12:06pm 29000 Westbrook Pkwy. The rear entry door of the garage and the interior garage door to the residence had been kicked in. SPD Dispatch received a call from a neighbor who observed a Blue & Teal Colored Vehicle parked in front of residence in the 29000 Block of Westbrook. While driving by the residence R/P states two B/M s ran from the home with items in hand. They entered the Blue & Teal Vehicle and sped off. Officers made the location and observed the rear garage door had been kicked in allowing access to the garage. Suspects then kicked in the inner door from the garage into the residence. The suspects ransacked both upstairs bedrooms. 3- Flat Screen TV s were taken. From: 11/04/2017 8:30am To: 11/04/2017 7:00pm 21000 Stahelin Rd. (Vacant Home) Rear family room door was pried open. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Residents that have vacant homes in their neighborhood should call Police immediately if they see any suspicious activity at these types of homes! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The complainant arrived home this evening to find the rear family room door ajar. The home is essentially vacant and the complainant occasionally checks on the house for a management company. R/P believes that there were fresh scratch/pry marks on the door. He feels that someone was in the home today while he was gone between 8:30am and 7:00pm. R/P states that the suspect(s) emptied clothing out of a suitcase in his upstairs bedroom. Nothing was taken though.

11/01/2017 12:43pm 17000 Dorset Ave. Front door was forced open. Officers responded to alarm at residence. Front door was the indicator. Officers arrived on scene and discovered a good Home Invasion. The front door had been forced open. The home owner arrived on scene. It appears that the suspect(s) were scared off when the alarm activated. Nothing was disturbed inside the residence. 11/01/2017 7:13pm 24000 Lee Baker Dr. Unknown possibly a south window. Victim states sometime between 12:20pm- 4:30pm someone entered residence by unknown means and several items are missing from the residence. The residence had a video system that the wires were cut and the video recorder was stolen. Taken from the residence was a Safe, 1- metal box with an undisclosed amount of cash, jewelry and some belts.

11/02/2017 10:32am 22000 Evergreen Rd. Front door was kicked in. R/p states she heard knocking on the front door and looked out the peep hole. R/p observed a Silver Ford Escape in her driveway and a b/m wearing a dark windbreaker knocking on her door. R/p wasn't expecting anyone and called her boyfriend. R/p still looking out the peep hole observed a shorter heavier set b/m exit the driver's side of the Ford Escape and walk up to the door. That subject then began to kick the door causing her to retreat to a closet and call the police. As the boyfriend and father arrived at the home, the suspects were scared off and fled s/b on Evergreen with the boyfriend and father chasing them. The suspects fled into Detroit and the suspects fired a shot at the father and boyfriend while they were in pursuit. Victim s father and boyfriend got the license plate off the suspect vehicle and noted that the vehicle occupied by three suspects. Southfield Police Detective went to the address where suspect vehicle registered too in Detroit and immediately observed the suspect vehicle leaving the residence. The vehicle was followed and with assistance from MSP the occupants, two females with a child and one male subject were detained and investigated. After interviewing everyone the male subject that was in the vehicle was arrested for the Home Invasion in Southfield. The other two suspects are still at large. 11/02/2017 5:24pm 23000 Village House Dr. South Main door to Condo was pried open. DOB (Age) 20 Sex M Race BLACK Height 5' 8" Weight 170 Notes Wearing a dark wind breaker Suspect#2 Last Name SUSPECT First Name UNKNOWN DOB (Age) Sex M Race BLACK Build Heavy Height 5' 6" There was a fire in the Attached Condo Building and the owner of Condo was away from her Condo for several days. When she returned to her Condo she discovered that there was a lock box on the door that management had put on the door. Entry was later made into the condo and victim discovered that a Flat Screen TV and a Roku Device were missing from the Condo. (College Campus) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer GMC Model ENVOY Color WHI - White Vehicle Year 2008 Body Style SW - Station Wagon State INDIANA License Year 2018 Description 2008 GMC ENVOY Victim parked his vehicle on 10/30/2017 at approximately 9:15am. Victim was notified by a friend on 11/02/2017 at approximately 8:30am that his vehicle was missing from the parking lot. Victim went outside and confirmed the GMC Envoy was not in the parking lot where he had parked it on 10/30/2017. Victim states a spare key and remote to the vehicle were in the center console of the GMC Envoy. Victim was certain that he locked his vehicle when he parked it on 10/30/2017. The GMC Envoy was parked near the Northwestern Hwy Service Drive entrance to the University, north-east side of the campus. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens that want to leave their extra set of keys to their vehicle inside the vehicle should find a place that it would be very difficult to locate the keys. 11/02/2017 10:38pm 25000 Shiawassee Rd. (Apartments) Attempt Auto Theft: Status A Attempt Only Manufacturer DODGE Model NEON Color GRY - Gray Description DODGE NEON Victim stated she was taking out her trash when she saw two black males inside her vehicle. She screamed at them, "what are you doing in my car". Once she said that, the two black males took off running on foot E/B through the complex. Officers arrived on scene and observed ignition damage on victim s vehicle. A suspect was later located and positively identified as one of the suspects that was in her car. This subject was taken into custody for Attempt Auto Theft. Suspect#2 (Still at large) Last Name SUSPECT First Name UNKNOWN DOB (Age) 16 Sex M Race BLACK Height 5' 8" Weight 180 Clothing: Wearing Red Sweatpants and a Black Hoodie with the Hood Worn. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

Victim states he parked his 2017 Ford Explorer rental car last night at about 5:00pm in the front main lot of the Hotel with the pole lights lit. The following morning at about 8:30am he discovered that someone had taken All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2017 Ford Explorer. 11/01/2017 6:44pm 24000 Civic Center Dr. (Apartments) Status S - Stolen Description License Plate Victim states she noticed the plate missing on her vehicle. Victim isn t sure where the car was when the plate was taken. 11/03/2017 12:15pm 23000 Northwestern (Commercial- Office) Radio/ Navigation System was taken from 2017 Chrysler 300. Victim advises she parked and locked her 2017 Chrysler 300 on 11/03/2017 at approx. 7:57am. Victim returned to the vehicle on 11/03/2017 at approx. 11:00am and observed that the rear passenger window was broken out and the Radio/Navigation System was stolen. From: 11/02/2017 6:30pm To: 11/03/2017 7:00am 23000 Park Place Dr. (Apartments) In-Dash Stereo System, Cobalt Tool Set and some misc. personal items were taken from 2015 Dodge Charger. Victim states sometime between 6:30pm and the following morning at 7:00am someone broke out window on victims 2015 Dodge Charger and stole the In-Dash Stereo System. From: 11/02/2017 1:00pm To: 11/03/2017 2:00pm Inc.# 17/44033 23000 Park Place Dr. (Apartments) In-Dash Stereo System was taken from 2017 Dodge Durango. Victim states sometime between 1:00pm- 2:00pm someone broke out window on victims 2017 Dodge Durango and stole the In-Dash Stereo System.

Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked Victim states he dropped his truck off at his Dealership at approx. 11:15am and picked it up at 3pm. Victims truck was due for an oil change and tire/wheel alignment. Victim left his Handgun in his center console. He stated the center console was not locked and the gun was loaded. Victim also left an extra magazine in his driver door which was also stolen. When victim picked up his vehicle he discovered that someone had taken his handgun. Several employee s that worked on the vehicle were interviewed and a possible suspect was identified. This incident is under further investigation. Victim states sometime between Thursday 11/02/2017 @ 9:00am- Friday 11/03/2107 @ 9:00am someone broke window out on vehicle and stole All Four Wheels & Tires from his 2015 Corvette. Victim states property was stolen out of his vehicle sometime between Wednesday November 1, 2017 & Saturday November 4, 2017. The property was in the glove box. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. No suspect in formation.

Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 11/01/2017 6:15am 25000 Shiawassee Rd. (Apartments) Wallet with contents, Backpack, 1-Pr. of Shoes and a Jacket. Victim stated she walked out of the apartment building carrying her child in her left arm and her wallet in her right hand. She approached her vehicle parked in the handicapped spot on the drivers side. She was immediately approached from the rear by an unknown male who stuck a gun in her back stating "open the doors". Victim immediately thought the subject wanted her car and she opened the doors when instructed. After doing so, suspect told her to turn around. When she turned around he snatched her wallet from her right hand and reached into her vehicle taking her shoes, jacket and backpack that she uses to carry her work items. The unknown suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. The only description that victim could give was the suspect was an unknown male. She didn t get a good look at suspect. Tips: Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious incidents or persons to your local police. If something doesn t appear right or someone looks like they are up to no good, call the police immediately Trust your intuition

Unarmed Robbery: 10/30/2017 9:10pm 23000 Greenfield Rd. (Bus Shelter) Victims purse with contents was taken and recovered. Victim stated she was waiting for the 4:15pm Bus at Greenfield & Nine Mile when she observed the suspect walk past her. Victim advised that she had her purse strapped over her shoulder when the suspect violently ripped it off her shoulder. The suspect then ran toward the nearby strip mall parking lot. Victim advised that she chased the subject to the parking lot. The suspect was then chased by two citizens that apprehended the suspect and held him down until Officers arrived and took the suspect into custody. The other suspects that were with arrestee are still at large. 1)19000 Block of Melrose Ave. Occurred between 7:00am- 12:00pm Several items were taken from the residence including a.38 Cal. Handgun. 2) 19000 Block of Melrose Ave. Occurred between 8:30am- 11:00am Entry through unlocked front window. Several items were taken from the residence. Several items taken from residence. 4) 21000 Block of Stahelin Rd. (Vacant Home) Occurred between 7:30am- 8:00pm

Nothing was taken from residence. 5) 17000 Block of Dorset Ave. Alarm Activation at 12:30pm. Suspects were scared off. Nothing was taken. 6) 24000 Block of Lee Baker Dr. Occurred between 12:20pm- 4:30pm. Cash, Jewelry, misc. items and the video recorder for surveillance system were taken. 7) 22000 Block of Evergreen Rd. R/p states at approx. 10:30am she heard knocking on the front door and looked out the peep hole. R/p observed a Silver Ford Escape in her driveway and a b/m wearing a dark windbreaker knocking on her door. R/p wasn't expecting anyone and called her boyfriend to see if he was expecting anyone. Boyfriend who was on a job with her father stated neither were expecting anyone. R/p continued to look out the peep hole while keeping her boyfriend on the line. Boyfriend and father were now driving back to the house. R/p still looking out the peep hole observed a shorter heavier set b/m exit the driver's side of the Ford Escape and walk up to the door. This subject then began to kick in the door causing her to retreat to a closet and call the police. As the boyfriend and father arrived at the home, the suspects were scared off and fled s/b on Evergreen MDOP- 4- Juveniles/ All were RPI d and released to their parents. 11/04/2017 10:12pm 27000 Block of Sutherland St. Officers were dispatched to MDOP just occurred in the 27000 Block of Sutherland St. Someone threw a brick through victim s car window. Suspects fled residence in a White Jeep. Officers responding pulled into the party store on Twelve Mile just east of Sutherland and observed a White Jeep occupied by four B/M s. The vehicle began to leave the parking lot. Officers activated their overhead lights signaling for the vehicle to stop. Officers approached the vehicle and spoke with all four occupants. The occupants were advised by Officers they were investigating the MDOP at the residence on Sutherland. During the investigation, the passenger in the backseat behind the driver admitted to throwing the bricks at the Ford Focus. All occupants of the vehicle were identified. The other three occupants admitted to knowing what was going to happen. All four occupants (Juveniles) of the suspect vehicle were identified & released to their parents & family guardians. This case will be petitioned to Probate Court for complaint & warrant review.

Rd. with both the boyfriend and father chasing them. The suspects fled into Detroit and the suspects fired a shot at the father and boyfriend while they were in pursuit in Detroit. Witnesses obtained the license plate on the suspect vehicle. It was occupied by three suspects. SPD Detective went to the address where suspect vehicle registered in Detroit and immediately observed suspect vehicle on the move from that residence. The vehicle was followed. With assistance from MSP the occupants were stopped. After interviewing everyone its believed that the male subject was involved in the Home Invasion in Southfield. He was arrested for Home Invasion. The other two suspects are still at large. Officer located the suspect vehicle and attempted to initiate a stop. The driver failed to stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit continued to the area of Inkster & Northwestern. The pursuit ended when the driver lost control and struck a sign. The driver was taken into custody for OWI and Fleeing and Eluding. Franklin Village PD will be investigating original complaint of leaving the scene of an accident. There were no injuries.
