In Mlada Boleslav, 11 th June 2016 6 Flight Director Regulation for AIR SHOW in Mlada Boleslav, 16 June 2016 (Flight Director Information and obligatory instructions leading to performance of the 11th Historical Air Show) Place and date of the event: 11 th June 2016 at the airfield Mlada Boleslav Time: from 13.00h to 17.00h local time (All times are in local time)

Part I. The air show will be held with the approval of the Czech CAA Directive "Public air shows flying regulations" CAA-SL-101-0-16 For day of the air show is issued a navigation warning NOTAM - the upper limit of ATZ is FL70. This day the arrivals will be limited at LKMB. RUNWAY IN USE 23/05 RUNWAY 16/34 IS CLOSED RUNWAY 23/05 will be temporarily divided for 23L/23C/23R. Runway 23C is extended to 1000 meters and width 30 meters for take off and landing of Warbirds. Runway 23L/R remains 775 meters and width 35 meters. FREQUENCY: BOLESLAV AIR SHOW - 124.6 MHz Arrival and departure information can be found in the annex. (Annex 1) Maps for taxiing and parking of air show participants and visitors can be found in the Annex. (Annex 2) To perform an air show the table with sequences and take-off times was prepared for each aircraft. This table will be available at the briefing. The same information can be found on the website www.historical-airshow.com. Air Show will be attended only by pilots who handed over the description of performance to the Flight Director. For aerobatics performances the Approval of acrobatic performances issued by the CAA must be handed over. For foreign pilots performing aerobatics relevant approval of the competent CAA must be handed over. All documents must be approved by the Flight Director. Aircrews and aircraft listed in the flying programme table are nonchangeable without the approval of the Flight Director. Upon arrival all air show participants will come to the Control Tower for the check of validation of licenses, qualifications, medical certificates and also all the documents needed for aircraft operation. Pre-flight briefing is held on the 11 th June 2016 at 12:15h local time at Air café bar in the museum of Method Vlach. The way to the Briefing will be marked. This briefing is mandatory for all air show participants. PART II Pilots are obliged to comply with the principles of safety according to CAA-SL-101-0-16. (Compliance with the heights of fly-by s and distances from spectators, depending on the type, operating weight and speed of the aircraft - See table below.)

All maneuvers must be performed so that the flight direction will be away from the area for spectators and parking area. In case of the violations of the display distances, display heights or in case there is a serious concern of the Flight safety, safety of the spectators, participants, other people and ground property, Flight Director has right to interrupt or terminate the Air Show. This will be announced by Flight information service BOLESLAV AIRSHOW.

Weather conditions and limitations All flights shall be conducted clear of clouds and with full ground contact. Minimum visibility for flights of the aeroplanes is 1500 meters, for helicopters 800 meters. Preparation for display flight: All display pilots shall monitor current flying programme, shall know individual sequence and airborne time for display flight. After start-up of engines pilot shall contact BOLESLAV AIRSHOW (124, 60 MHz) for further information and instruction. Time reserve for start-up and engine warm up shall be taken into consideration in order to avoid delays and programme brake up. Start of flying display According to the Flying programme table and display description, pilot in command will start display by the following: a) Immediately when airborne, climbing to the safe altitude and turn to the display area. Further on as per individual display description. b) When airborne, continue by turning to the area W (If no other instruction by controller), climbing to an altitude required for display. On given time and order, pilot starts display established on display line well before runway threshold. During holding in the area W, pilot contacts controller for possible correction of the initial time of display. Flight to the holding area W and flight in to display shall avoid spectators area. Further as per individual display description. c) When conducting aero towing flights, relating to the altitude, glider release point shall be established more distanced from spectator s area. For aero towing altitudes ca 4000 ft it correspond to the half distance between route Mlada Boleslav Bezdecin and R10 motorway. Completion of display and landing Display is limited by given time. Controller is authorized to modify time of display as per needs by flying programme. Display ends by joining small airfield circuit and landing. Taxiing after landing is marked in enclosures. Traffic priority and right of way rules Aeroplane taxiing out of stand for display flight has right of way before the aeroplane finishing display and coming back to the stand. In all other cases, during taxiing and flights, ICAO Annex 2 Rules of the Air are in force. Movement of the aeroplanes on the apron stands and on the airfield manoeuvring area are in enclosure.

Holding areas For air show participants are E/W (Annex 4) Emergency procedures Aeroplanes shall be operated according approved Aeroplane operating manual. In any case it is not allowed to exceed aeroplane performance limitations. Alternate airport is Mnichovo Hradiste (LKMH) Distance 9.4NM Course 025, Communication frequency 120.40 MHz HRADISTE RADIO (Annex 5) Individual information for some of the flying display Gliders, Z 526 AFS, Z 37 for aero towing flights, helicopters R-22, R-44 Helicopters Robinson R-22, R-44 will depart to the flying display from heliport established for Air Show in the Eastern part of the airfield manoeuvring area. When airborne, turning left out of the spectator s area into direction of RWY 23 and starts display. Same way back to the heliport is used when display finished. Gliders when display finished will stay on the right side of the RWY 23 (left from RWY 05). Gliders shall vacate RWY with no delay to avoid restriction of RWY for departures. Towing ZLIN 526 AFS will land with towing rope. After landing of gliders, towing Z 37 will extend landing in front of spectators. During final approach safe height of the towing ropeend above the obstacles before RWY threshold shall be maintained. Sightseeing flights will be terminated 30 minutes (12.30 CET) prior Air Show beginning. Organization and safety of the spectators after vacating spectator s reserved area boarding/disembarking aeroplane/helicopter is in responsibility of the sightseeing fligts operators. Passengers must be guided from spectators reserved area to the aeroplane/helicopter and back by authorized person. Way to the aeroplane/helicopter must be secured in way that passengers will under no circumstances collide with air traffic. Guide must stay by passengers till aeroplane/helicopter doors closed. Without authorized guide, aeroplane/helicopter doors shall not be opened except in case of emergency evacuation. Organizers of the sightseeing flights are obliged to record names of all passengers in order to enable their quick identification by Police and Rescue service in case of unforeseen events.

Annex 1 Arrivals/Departures For the day 11th of June 2016 due to the event named 11th Historical Air Show, which takes place on the airfield of Mlada Boleslav, the airfield traffic zone (ATZ) entry rules for arrival and departure flights are modified as follows: Airfield Traffic Zone /ATZ/entry procedure: Contact with TWR BOLESLAV AIRSHOW/freq. 124,60MHz

Arrivals: Southern direction and Eastern direction arrivals routing over northern part of the town DOBROVICE (50 22 26 N/14 57 40 E). Further on follow instructions issued by BOLESLAV AIRSHOW and join airfield traffic pattern tangentially. Western direction arrivals routing over northern part of the village BEZNO (50 22 14 N / 14 47 36 E ). Further on follow instructions issued by BOLESLAV AIRSHOW and join airfield traffic pattern tangentially. Northern direction arrivals routing over the village BUKOVNO (50 26 51 N / 14 50 19 E). Further on follow instructions issued by BOLESLAV AIRSHOW and join airfield traffic pattern tangentially. Time 3 minutes prior to the point of entry, contact BOLESLAV AIRSHOW on frequency 124, 60 MHz and report following information: Aircraft identification Type of the aircraft Point of entry to ATZ + advise to TWR if DISPLAY or VISITOR ETA calculated for ATZ entry point For next follow instructions issued by BOLESLAV AIRSHOW for joining of traffic pattern for RWY 05/23. Altitude in traffic pattern flight is 1780 ft/300m with LKMB local QNH setting. Runway in use 05/23 only. RWY 16/34 closed, (used as spectator s area) Approaching the airfield LKMB, heightened caution shall be brought due to the training flights in progress, non- public presentations flights, parachute jumping flights and sightseeing flights. In the period of time 1h before air show program starts, 10:00UTC (12:00CET) 15:00UTC (17:00 CET) arrivals to LKMB are not permitted, except reasonable flights of the operators based on LKMB, approved by ATC and authorised by DLD air show director. Arrival without radio communication: Only prior to telephone permission given by ATC. It is important to respect: Agreed ATZ point of entry Point of joining of traffic pattern Approved arrival time Aeroplanes taking part in the main air show program, after landing taxi in direction to the TWR. During taxiing, instruction for parking stand dedicated to the aeroplanes performing in main air show program will be provided by ground service.

Aeroplanes of the air show visitors only, after landing taxi in direction to the area of the RWY 34 threshold zone, where visitors parking stands are located. Pay high attention for the ground obstacles, markings and signs around the apron during the taxiing. Taxi carefully! On the side of the air show organizer, there is no responsibility taken for the parked aeroplanes of the visitors. All pilots performing in the air show program are obliged to report on TWR after landing personally for registration. There they will receive relevant marking authorising entry of aero club operational areas. Pilots performing in the main air show program will receive relevant documents and information. Performing pilots shall present valid licences, medical certificates and aeroplane certificates of airworthiness. Departures /all take offs/: Departures from LKMB are permitted only during the period of time out of the main air show program. In the period of time 1h before main air show program starts (10:00 UTC /12:00 CET) and before the air show program ends (15:00UTC/17:00CET) departures from LKMB are not permitted. Exceptions are only departures of the main air show performers approved in advance by air show director. Before engine start up, pilots shall contact BOLESLAV AIRSHOW on 124,60 MHz and report following information: Aircraft identification Type of aircraft Parking stand Intended activity (departure, non- public flight, sightseeing flight etc.) Destination airport in case of departure Information if the flight will be performed according to the filled ATC flight plan or flight without the ATC flight plan To assure preparations of the main air show program and continuity of the air traffic, flights for non- public presentation performed in order to receive an approval for the air show display, necessary training flights and sightseeing flights will be preferred. Other flights could be limited. Contents of this information could be subject of changes or modifications. Therefore please pay special attention to all current information during the day of the air show, as well as content of the NOTAM issued for this air show.
