Quakertown Breakfast hosted by Ed & Kathy Benner. I think that possibly the first Saturday of each month is jinxed to having undesirable weather conditions for riding cycles. We only had one good ride this Summer. Eventually though like a bad head cold this condition will get better. Because of the cold morning with early showers no one rode to breakfast. We had 21 Retreads in attendance. Thank you to Barry Klipple for helping me sell 50/50 tickets. The winner of the 50/50 was Walt Beil. We wish everyone Happy Holidays. Hope to see you soon. There was snow on the ground for this year s November breakfast, we don t remember that happening before. However there were still 29 Retreads in attendance for the last Shartlesville breakfast of 2018. There are a few events coming, The Christmas Breakfast and the mid-winter banquet so check your newsletter for the flyers. The membership contest will be over by the time you read this and the winner will be drawn at the Christmas breakfast and no you do not need to be present to win. Thanks to Dick Kern for helping Bill sell the 50/50 tickets, the winner was Charlie Boyer who donated his winnings to Four Diamonds. Remember there is NO breakfast in Shartlesville in December! See you there in 2019. Bill & Nancy 4th Saturday Lancaster Breakfast hosted by Harold & Linda Robinson Happy belated Thanksgiving to all! It was an early start for Breakfast. I believe everyone showed earlier than normal and with Hershey Farm not being very busy it made for a much more relaxed breakfast. With 30 Retreads in attendance on this Thanksgiving weekend, there was plenty of socializing during breakfast and even well after breakfast. The 50/50 was won by...yes, none other than Charlie Boyer. Charlie received $30 and said he was going straight out to play the lottery. With the year winding down, we will be back here at Hershey Farm on Dec 9th for our Christmas Breakfast and the Holidays are right around the corner. Sadly we will be leaving Hershey Farm Restaurant (and Carla), but I am excited about moving our Breakfast (every fourth Saturday now), to Bird-N-Hand Restaurant Starting Saturday January 26, 2019. This opens up more riding opportunities and maybe even some miniature golf after breakfast. Everything will still be done the same as has been at Hershey Farm. We will collect the money ($10 per person), at the registration table and the 50/50 will be held at the registration table. Hope to see you at the Christmas Party. Thank you, Linda and Harold

Get Well Wishes We hope you recover quickly Ralph Moyer finished Cardiac Rehab and his recovery is going well. On 11/5 Joyce had major surgery for bowel issues. Discharged from hospital 11/13/18 and is now at home, 26 Knollwood Drive, Akron, PA 17501. Recovery is expected to be 4 6 weeks. Dick Dombach fell in his bathtub and broke his left leg. He is currently recuperating at home and is doing well. 116 Stonewyck Dr Lancaster PA 17603 Melanie Schnek-Sicafus is recuperating after hip replacement surgery.
