June 8 th 15 th 2019 Come and join Internationally Renowned Medium Robert Brown in a rare and intimate week-long retreat developing Mediumship, Healing and Spiritual awareness in the quiet seclusion of the magnificent Welsh countryside. Cardiff, Bristol, Bath are all within easy travelling distance and the spectacular Stonehenge is also a possibility to visit. Due to the overwhelming response and popularity of this event in 2018 we have decided to hold a full week retreat at this superb venue. Having run retreats for over 17 years we have never visited a place that scored so highly on Venue, Facilities, Location, Food and Accommodation. In fact, the reason we are returning is that over 90% of last years attendees asked to return! We are still going to keep the event a small group, though as we have added two nights, making the event, Saturday to Saturday and we have secured 20 rooms. The cost includes accommodation, full breakfast and each evening a choice from three 3 course meals. See comments or ask 2018 attendees all will say how superb the food was! As we have added two more days we will also have a couple more facilitators alongside Robert. Ann Burbedge will be making a return visit and the week will focus on Mediumship, Healing (for self and others) and understanding our life s path (why do, sometimes, bad things happen to good people?) We have limited the group size by reserving just 20 double rooms, you may reserve your room for single occupancy, a supplement will apply, or you may share. If sharing you and your co sharer should indicate on the form so that we can keep the numbers to manageable levels, you will then be able to book your room, we are sorry but we cannot find sharers for you. Once you have booked the event with us, we will give you a code to enable you to contact the hotel and book one of our rooms that have been contracted at a very advantageous rate and includes full cooked breakfast (Inc. Cereal, fruit, juices as well) and a three-course evening meal, with a choice from three options each course every evening plus tea or coffee.
The Hotel has wonderful facilities including a full Spa, pool and tennis courts, a champagne bar and we will have our own private meeting room. The whole area is one of outstanding natural beauty, with numerous castles, quaint villages and historic sites to visit. This year we will have one full day free for sightseeing. We hope to re visit the Spiritualist Church nearby, we certainly surprised them in 2018 by us all turning up, and what a wonderful way to see UK mediums working. A full detailed itinerary program will be produced and available from January, however this notice is an advance one for those who know they definitely do not want to miss out on this great event, once all the places are booked we cannot add more rooms, and bookings are on a first come, first served basis and are being taken now. What is not included: Treatments at Spa (suggest book in advance) Transfers to and from hotel The incredible price we have agreed is 70 ($90 approx) per person per night for sharers making it 490 ($630 approx) per person for sharers for the full time from arrival 8 th through 15th. Making it 980 ($1260 approx) for the week for 2 sharing. (I am using $ approx. due to rate changes, it is pretty steady but may fluctuate by a few cents). Single occupancy is 100 ($130 approx) per night or 700 ($900 approx) for the week. Please bear in mind these prices include the accommodation, full cooked breakfast and 3 course evening meal, a set menu with a choice from 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 desserts each evening. We are giving the daily rates for transparency, as we are a small group we are not offering day visitors to attend, the course is from the 8 th 15 th. The course fee is shown on the booking form separately. *Some information on the venue and travel: For those coming from North America, London Heathrow or Cardiff international airports are the most popular, from Heathrow it is about a 2-hour train ride. Bristol is also another airport nearby. Cardiff is about 30 minutes away by taxi and Newport train station is a 10 minute taxi ride. We have arranged this week to run from Saturday 8th June 2019, check in from 3pm until after breakfast on Saturday 15 th June, giving people who may be travelling a distance, time to spend before or after the event, visiting London and other places. From local train stations and Cardiff airport taxis can be hired to bring you to the hotel, if you are confident you can hire a car, there are a lot of beautiful sites to see and this is a country/rural area. We will have an entire day free for sightseeing. Feel free to email any questions about travel I will do my best to help, also the Hotel are very helpful and friendly and they have a lot of local knowledge. The Hotel: one of those Gems one all too rarely comes across, it is a former Manor House with full Spa (the manager suggests you book prior to arrival for any treatments) as part of our package we can use the pool & gym etc but treatments are charged extra. I have stayed at this hotel and it is wonderful, the food has been excellent on all occasions, it went under the brand of Ramada Inns but is one of their more up market facilities, the rooms were really quite large, being an old building, they are individual and vary but all are newly decorated and have everything you need.
I will send a full itinerary, but the plan is to arrive on the Saturday, have dinner together, work on Monday and Tuesday, take tours on Wednesday if possible, work again on Thursday and Friday departing after breakfast on Saturday. This is a perfect opportunity for those wishing to come to a very special week and an excellent facility and perhaps combine such a trip with seeing London, Bath or some other parts of the UK.
