One of the largest and warmest lakes in Europe, with pleasant climate and beautiful sights. Can be reached in 2 hours from Orfű. Puszta Program Approximately 3-3,5 hours far. Balaton Tour, arrival to Szántód pass through by ferry to Tihany This area is rich in special natural and architectural values. Here you can enjoy the unique view of Balaton. Then you will have the opportunity to visit the Abbey of Tihany, founded in 1055 by the Hungarian King, András. Tihany Peninsula, has been declared the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. After Tihany heading to Balatonfüred by bus, lunch next to the lake. Our second stop is Balatonfüred which is a lovely small town on the north shore of Lake Balaton. We invite you for a short sightseeing. You will have time to walk along the picturesque promenade. Puszta Program arrival to Bugacpuszta (museum) From the museum a short walk leads to the stables. Here the visitors can experience the indigenous Hungarian animals: mangalica pig, the grey cattle and racka sheep.
