Day 1 Monday, May 23 rd Departure from Minneapolis St Paul international airport with ICE 656 leaving at 07.30 p.m. to Amsterdam via Reykjavik (Arrival in Reykjavik at 06.30 a.m.: due to the difference time you will arrive the following day. Day 2 Tuesday, May 24 th Departure from Keflavich at 07.40 a.m. and arrival in Amsterdam Schiphol international airport with flight ICE 500 from Reykjavik at 12.40 p.m. Meeting with your bilingual tour manager who will remain with you during all your stay to take care of all your needs. Transfer by private bus to Amsterdam downtown and time for a preliminary personal exploration. At 03.30 pm Half day Guided visit of the city: one of the greatest small cities in the world. From Amsterdam canals to world-famous Amsterdam museums and historical Amsterdam sights, it is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe. Canal cruises are a popular way to see the city from the perspective of its canals Final transfer to your hotel in Amsterdam area, check-in on your arrival, dinner at 07.00 pm and overnight (4 nights stay) Day 3 Wednesday, May 25 th Breakfast and transfer to Amsterdam for a nice 4 hour Country side Bike tour, that will begin at 09.30 am. The majority of this guided bicycle tour is spent riding along the Amstel River beyond the edge of town where we ll pass by funky houseboats, rowing clubs and people fishing. Then they ll show you one of the few rem aining authentic windmills; the Riekermolen. They ll make a nice photo stop at the windmill and you can also check out the remembrance statue of Rembrandt. They bike a little further along the Amstel River and stop at the Rembrandthoeve farm, where you visit an eccentric and entertaining Dutch farmer at his cheese farm/clog factory. At the farm they will demonstrate the traditional art of making wooden shoes and famous Gouda cheese. Afterwards you ll be able to have a look around in their little gift shop, taste some free samples of authentic Dutch cheese, try on wooden shoes and go cow tipping (if you can catch them) or eat your packed lunch (if you ve brought any). You then leave the Amstel River behind and continue the bike tour riding through the polder landscape with it s rectilinear ditches and dikes. On our way back towards the city we bike through the Amsterdamse Bos and then into the Vondel park before finishing back at our tour garage Leisure time at your complete disposal to stroll around the city. Later in the afternoon transfer to hotel Pre game dinner at 05.30 pm and transfer to a local sport center in Zoetermeer (1 hour and 20 min far from Amsterdam) to play at 08.00 pm game nr. 1. Day 4 Thursday, May 26 th Following breakfast, transfer to Amsterdam city center. The group will try to enter to Ann Frank Museum for a visit of a hidden annex of Amsterdam canal house, where two Jewish families hid from persecution by the Nazis. At 12.00 pm Heineken tour and later lunch on own Afternoon at your disposal for personal sightseeing Later in the afternoon transfer to hotel Pre game dinner at 05.30 pm and transfer to a local sport center in Utrecht (1 hour far from Amsterdam) to play at 08.00 pm game nr. 2. At the end, overnight at hotel Day 5 Friday, May 27 th Breakfast and transfer to Volendam for self-guided tour (no guided tour) to visit the fishing village. Volendam is a fishing village well known for its characteristic, authentic houses. It is therefore best explored on foot, walking along De Dijk or through Het Doolhof, old quarters of Volendam full of maze-like streets that have attracted painters and artists from far and wide for centuries. Time at leisure and lunch on own In the early afternoon transfer to a local sport center in Amsterdam to play game nr. 3 At the end, come back to the hotel, dinner and overnight
Day 6 Saturday, May 28 th After breakfast, check-out hotel and departure to Antwerp (ca 160 kms about 2 hour drive). At 11.00 am Guided visit of the city center. Explore the famous shopping street The Meir or enjoy one of the many pubs proudly serving some of the finest beer in the world. Free time to explore and lunch on your own Final transfer to your selected hotel dinner and overnight (3 nights stay) Day 7 Sunday, May 29 th Breakfast and transfer to Bruges (1.5 hour drive) Bruges is a city that will capture your heart. It is a city of human proportions, but one that can never be truly fathomed. Its history has made it great, a fact that garnered it the title of a Unesco World Heritage City. Retaining the mysteries of the Middle Ages and unashamedly exuberant, Bruges has been an international metropolis for centuries. Personal exploration of the city (no guided visit) and lunch on own Afternoon free. Leisure time to stroll and shop arounf. Dinner and overnight in your selected hotel in Antwerp. Day 8 Monday, May 30 th Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Brussels (1 hour from Antwerp ), where at 11.00 am, you will have 2 hour walking guided tour of the city with a bilingual speaking guide and free time. Dinner at the hotel and Overnight Day 9 Tuesday, May 31 st Breakfast and hotel check-out Departure to Paris (360 km / 4h 30min ca stop along the way for lunch). Orientation tour by private bus to Paris downtown (no guided visit) Final transfer to your hotel in Paris area, check-in on your arrival. Pre game dinner at 05.00/05.30 pm. Later in the afternoon transfer to a local sport center to play at 08.00 pm game nr. 4 At the end, transfer back to the hotel and overnight (3 nights stay). Day 10 Wednesday, June 1 st Breakfast at the hotel In the morning, the group will take the tram and they will go to climb the Eiffel Tower (queue to get tickets on spot) At 01.30 pm, Half day Guided visit of the city. Later in the afternoon transfer to a local sport center to play at 07.30 pm game nr. 5. At the end, dinner at the hotel and overnight.
Day 11 Sunday, June 2 th After breakfast, transfer to Louvre Museum (admission ticket with audio-guides is included and booked at 10.15 am). Former residence of the kings of France, has for two centuries been one of the biggest museums in the world. Its collections are spread over 8 departments : Near Eastern Antiquities, Islamic Art, Egyptian Antiquities, Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities, Paintings, Sculptures, Decorative Arts, and Prints and Drawings dating from the Middle Ages to 1848.. Free time in the afternoon Dinner at the hotel and overnight. Day 12 Friday, June 3 rd After breakfast, hotel check-out At 10.00 a.m. departure to Charles the Gaulle International Airport. ICE 543 flight to Reykjavik (departure at 02.10 p.m., arriving at 03.40 p.m.) where you will get your connection back home to Minneapolis St Paul International Airport leaving at 04.45 p.m. (Flight ICE 657).
