PRINTING PRE-GROUND DOCTOR BLADES STABLE DOCTOR BLADES COMBINATION DOCTOR BLADES FlexoTip INK KNIVES WASH UP BLADES The print quality in rotogravure printing and flexoprinting will be considerably influenced by the doctor blades. In this area, we have allowed our 35 years of experience to guide us in our ongoing innovation. In direct dialogue with our customers we have developed the optimum doctor blades with high profitability and have achieved operational reliability and safety. FlexoTip FLEXOPRINTING places particular demands on doctor blades. For this printing process (chamber doctor blade system) we developed Flexo Tip. With an improved contact zone, Flexo Tip optimises the intake process as well as the life time. Via high stability in the work area, printing results will improve. Over and above this, Flexo Tip reduces ink deposits on the final doctor blades and, in so doing, minimises the downtime of your machines. RMB MeyerPrint Micro clean special spring steel. RMB OptiPrint Made of spring steel with 5 times the percentage of chrome compared with MeyerPrint, it has the advantage of up to 50% longer durability. RMB PowerPrint High-alloyed tool steel makes for optimum print quality with longer durability, even with abrasive inks. RMB NiroPrint Rust resistant steel grades. Used predominantly with water-based inks. RMB MegaPrint The MegaPrint-Doctor Blade is designed with an special hardened material coating containing ceramic particles so that a highly wearresistent surface in the tip area is obtained. This is ideally qualified for use with abrasive inks and minimises unwanted pin lines as well. It also results in high quality print even at intersections in the continuous tone areas.

CROSS CUTTING CUTTING KNIVES PERFORATION KNIVES SurePerf PRESSURE BARS KNIFE BOX CROSS CUT KNIVES CUTTING BARS In production zones, a multitude of custom cross cutting knives can be manufactured. It is possible, for example, to create perforation tooth cutting knives with up to 20 teeth per centimetre in order to realize a custom micro finish. This opens up the possibility of, for example, cutting newspaper supplements to format in the folder and saving on the subsequent trimming stage. KNIVES IN S1-QUALITY Outstanding knife quality with an extremely high wear resistance that lengthens the durability many times over, making the use of this knife extremely profitable. SurePerf With the SurePerf Knife being patented by us, we are pleased to provide the proof, that even with a high number of pages it is possible to produce a product without wrinkles. CUTTING BARS MADE FROM VULKOLLAN Vulkollan excels itself in abrasion resistance and deformation resistance. It comes with an enduring Shore (Durometer) hardness, through which high durability is achieved.

In this way, we make a process optimised solution available for our customers, each according to machine type and application. With a variety of steel grades and coating variations available, we have a broad spectrum of fold and counter blades as well as fold knives. Our applications engineers will gladly advise you on a solution. GUIDE BARS We are aware of the high requirements for adhering to dimensions and the continuity of Shore (Durometer) hardness of guide bars within the cost of manufacture and consequently convert them. Solely according to our customers requirements, we manufacture solutions optimised for abrasive wear with the appropriate protection from wear.
FOLDING AND GUIDING GRIPPER / SUPPORT PLATES The importance of a gripper plate is often only realised if it presents a problem and products are lost or if indeed it breaks during use. For this reason, we exclusively select high value raw materials and, when printing the highest value products, place great emphasis on adherence to manufactured tolerances. We are open to our customers require- ments and advise specifically according to each business application on the use of optimum gripper plates.

Here, losses on quality and the resulting complaints to quality management are tied up with the highest costs because the product is near completion. To reduce these costs, the IKS Klingelnberg Group offers a broad spectrum of three way trimmer knives, trimmer knives and rotation cutters for an inline or offline finish. In order to do justice to our customers individual requirements, we offer advice on the optimum knife quality in relation to cut quality and profitability.

Our customers can expect the same precision manufactured tolerance from repaired parts as from new ones and that s a promise! FINISH SERVICE We offer various finish processes: Standard Finish New Wave-Finish Hyper Hone-Finish Optionally, we can design your length-cutting knife with a New Wave finish. This special finish lengthens the durability of the knife considerably and makes frequent regrinding possible. Optionally, our circular knives can be designed with a special polished finish on both sides (Hyper Hone-Finish). This makes for increased durability and less accumulation of dust. The advantages of the Hyper Hone Finishing method: Optimum cross section Up to 40% less dust Up to four times durability versus a comparable conventional knife.
