City of Burlington Townsend Avenue Area Improvements Detailed Design of Townsend Avenue, Shadeland Avenue and Forest Glen Avenue Notice of Public Meeting The City of Burlington has revised the design for the reconstruction of Townsend Avenue between LaSalle Park Road and Eagle Drive including proposed drainage improvements and Low-Impact Development (LID) stormwater management techniques. The design for the reconstruction/resurfacing of Shadeland Avenue and Forest Glen Avenue between Townsend Avenue and North Shore Blvd. has also been amended. Prior public meetings were held with respect to these projects where residents provided their input. An additional public meeting has been scheduled for: Date: Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 Location: Aldershot Pool Community Room 50 Fairwood Pl. W. Drop-in Open House: 7 to 9 p.m. The purpose of this public meeting is to inform the community of the status of the project and to demonstrate how comments received at the initial public meetings have been incorporated into the design.
